BCML just got ₹75 crore from the govt to set up a pilot R&D line for PLA co-polymers. Basically they'll use it to cook up specialised, higher value bio-plastic poly lactic acid (PLA) and co-polymer grades and figure out the process tech before pushing them into mass production. And this is coming up right alongside their 80,000 TPA Kumbhi plant, India's first integrated commercial scale PLA facility.

In any case, drones, robots ai will intermesh with quantum, space networking etc it all needs to come up together close to each other to have a multiplier and only china USA are doing it and therefore can do it, because they have got to the stage they don't really have dependency for existing technology, so they keep pushing ahead whilst others have dependency on old stuff

Why not develop a cryogenic engine by yourself to prove your point? Let's see how easy it is.

My point is you will get there if you keep trying. We don't have hundred percent success rate in any program but at least we have a "program". Economic growth solved a lot of problems including technological gap we have the talent to do it.

In theory..... over last 30 year's....with your gdp, your talent pool, alleged, your consistent growth over decades, your everyone wants us geopolitical standing, your tech dominance etc Pakistan should be left with no choice but play ball with India, you no doubt said and thought this

A few decade of India is accelerating and Pakistan going the opposite..... plus size difference you already had....What's the point, Pakistan can't bridge a growing gap

Yet none of this has come into fruition, your gdp was meant to overwhelm Pakistan into irrelevance and dependence, it was meant to translate into technological dominance of India in the military sphere

I thought it was looking this way up to 5 years ago, no such worry now, if it didn't happen already it will be even harder in today's world

India already overwhelms the region economically in most respects. Why limit the comparison to Pakistan? Compare India with the rest of South Asia combined and the scale becomes much clearer. India accounts for roughly 86% of South Asia’s GDP. Its weight is similarly disproportionate across investment, capital formation, foreign investment, industrial capacity, technology, and other measures of economic scale. India has a far larger and more diversified economic and industrial base than any of its South Asian neighbours combined. The last full scale war between India Pakistan ended with a new country called Bangladesh so let's not talk about military might. I don't know why you think India is your rival? Because of the enemity? Sure... That's all there is.

Pakistan is considering an indigenous 5th gen fighter, I would be an idiot to believe it's not improbable and don't have high expectations, and they better have 5th gen options without delay

And your standing with Bangladesh is undermined by Pakistan and china these days, so great victory if it creates problems down the line, you have two different sovereign entities refusing your hegemony

Hostility with Pakistan serves India’s economic interests as well.

It forced Indian military Industrial complex to develop specific dual-use technologies that spill into civilian industry and exports.
