The Myth of Muslim Persecution of Hindus

Can we get some really pernicious myths out of the way first?
Hindu right-wingers are propagating the misconception that Islam arrived in the Indian subcontinent by conquest, and that a large number of Muslims in South Asia were converted by force. Most of the above propaganda references accounts supposedly attributed to the invaders that were written by scribes, mostly from the Brahmin community. While it is well-known that the aforementioned writings are mostly fabrications, the actual truth of the matter needs to be revealed.

Can someone please explain why, if the historical Islamic caliphates were so anti-Hindu, were there Indian scholars working in the House of Wisdom in Baghdad? If the Hindu right is to be believed, then scholars like Manka al-Hindi would have been decapitated and his writings burned.

The Christians may well have a point that needs solid refutation when they challenge us with the same suggestion. Yes, I would need to carefully refute them with evidence.

But come on, just look at 2 or 3 pictures of your lifestyle choices in action and you can understand why no coercion was ever needed.

If this was true all of India would be Muslim by now. It isn't.

it didn't succeed not because of lack of effort. the effort still goes on, love jihad is the biggest example, not telling muslim name to the hindu girl, feeding beef forcibly to a minor girl and telling her now she's muslim and has to read kalma.

these are stories from 2026, not 1100 or 1500 or 1800.

you should come out of the muslim well, the muslim persecution of non muslims is worldwide.

If Hindu religion survive after 1000 year of Muslim rules, means they went though good. May be some persecution but no big found in the history. If they want to fabricate that is different story . Few Hindu religious places knocked out few knuckle head rulers ...but nothing substantial.
