PTI news, updates and discussions part ll

The status quo, despite your claims of grassroots revivals, has only strengthened itself over the past years. It has been given a fresh lease of life due tea party antics of PTI, a glorified political lab rat.

Incredible naivety to suggest feudalism can be uprooted via gradual vote. You don't seem to have much knowledge of how tribal feudalism works.

Again with the hero worship of status quo. All empires crumble. Nothing lasts forever.

PTI is a political lab-rat. Chalay, ok. Who created it? Say the name man. Say the bloody name already. You are so scared to even take their name.

I did not say a grassroot revival has taken place. I'm saying it CAN take place IF the colonial larpers known as the Fauj go back to their goddamned barracks and do their bloody job as it's written in the JD.

Can I ask you a personal question? Are you from a fauji or zameendar family? Cause if not I don't see why you are so keen to defend. What's the incentive here.

When the current empire of our feudal Lords collapse, we can continue our discussion. The political system in place is too rigid to allow for any new entry to the exclusive ruling class club.

For millions of the countrymen, the only realistic chance at upward social mobility are the different institutions of the state. Otherwise servitude towards tribe, feudal Lord or chieftain is always a perpetual venue from first lactation. Put it into perspective of the charcoal walkers and pond swimmers of 2026, hundreds showed up for the spectacle to either see first degree burns or watch someone drown, all of them were eligible voters, many even literate. No one dared question the civility of the event. Now put one Pakistan Army officer anywhere near the spectacle, the show would have ended before it began.

Everywhere or any conceivable functioning system allows institutions and arms of the state to be stakeholders in policy. These stakes do not make them political opponents or competition but requires integration. There are no robotic armies anywhere in the world not even the Vatican.

We can have an open discussion without indulging in personal specifics.

Every time you reply to me and force me to read through another post apologizing for the army I get more and more concerned.

Army officers are just as jaahil buddy. Stop worshipping them. I take back my question about you being related to forces, clearly you are not or you wouldn't be praising them this much. I've met enough idiots who made it to colonel rank to know how bad it is in the military. Didn't you get your demonstration with that trigger happy fool who came to back up his gangster wife at that uni?

The PAF cadre of officers are much higher class, that is why they always suceed where Army fails (in whooping India). Part of that reason is PAF doesn't have to worry about running a country or conducting commercial activities (except for flying related ones). At least not to the scale of the Army.

I say this with utmost respect but who are YOU to call anyone jahil or say they shouldn't be voting? Konsa PhD kiya hay apne? Bataye hamay zara. Do not be so quick to put down your own fellow civilians. You guys look at a few unruly mobs or isolated incidents and paint the entire civilian population with that brush but you forget thats 240 million people you're talking about.

Also, I am not sure what incident/group you're referring to with the 'charcoal burners' or 'pond swimmers' but again, hilarious to see you insert in the typical "Eik army officer sab ko set kardega" . Who the hell asked the bloody army officer to come and fix any problem? Pucha kiss ne? Tell them piss off and man the border that they're supposed to.

KOHAT: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Sohail Afridi led the PTI convoy towards Kohat on Monday after spending the night in Karak, as the party resumes its long march following the collapse of talks between the government and opposition.

The march began on Sunday from Lakki Marwat after government-opposition talks failed to resolve a dispute over the PTI’s planned protest. The convoy later in the night reached Karak, where CM Afridi addressed participants at Khatam-e-Nabuwwat Chowk on the Bannu-Karak border. Internet services were also suspended in Karak.

Addressing the gathering before moving towards Kohat, CM Afridi thanked the people of Karak for welcoming marchers from across southern K-P and said renewed violence in the province was the result of what he called a deliberate policy failure.

He sharply criticised the country’s counterterrorism policy, saying Pakhtuns were again bearing the cost of what he described as flawed decisions. CM Afridi also responded to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who had described him as “immature” a day earlier.

Estimates suggest Pakistan's population is significantly higher than the reported 240 million.

Charcoal walking is an established ritual in the largest province of Pakistan and Dera Ghazi Khan recently witnessed the incident where a young man was thrown in a tube well by Panchayat to ascertain whether he was lying or not. Jirgas and Panchayats are so fancied that cities like Karachi now host these practices.

There are dozens of incidents regarding honor in the country. It's humanly impossible to register commentary for each and every one of them. It's a cultural phenomenon which will last the silica age.

This PAF vs PA thing gets promoted in political circles quite a lot. It seems that feudals are now banking on intra military frictions for their next move.

The PAF vs PA thing is absolutely true but no, nobody's 'banking' on it. PAF doesn't exist as a political force (which is a big part of why they're so damn good when compared to Fauj) I don't know where you're creating that from.

And yes, totally right. The society is feudal, it is paindu. Upar se le kay neechay tak ajeeb o ghareeb complexes ki shikaar qom hay ham. We're not just funeral, we're even confused about who we really are. Pakistani society has one of the highest levels of LARP known to mankind. Just look at how many Syeds and Turks you can find in a Punjabi village.

Majority of the country is incapable of basic critical thought or problem solving capabilities. The national literacy rate in reality is somewhere around the 40-60% mark.

But again, none of this gives faujis the right to get up and claim power. I have witnessed profound and well thought out political analysis at mechanic shops from people who never had the opportunity to even pick up a pen. Just cause they're more passionate or less educated than you doesn't mean they have no agency and it doesn't mean they are not worthy of casting a vote.

The Fauj controlling Pakistan directly/indirectly through hybrid regimes, dictatorships, test tube politicians is all a reality. But it is never one that should be respected.
