Saudi Arabia itself as an important economic asset of Pakistan ought to be protected by all means..

Militarily speaking _apart from nukes_KSA armed forces are very well trained and armed..

In war throughout history..even empires seeked to have friends and allies involved in their conflicts..the US itself is still doing it..

Saudia Arabia is very so important to the Pakistan nation. We have history of doing so. After fall of shah who was a good friend of Pakistanis , his replacement the Irans Islamic regime policies to Pakistanis have been so pro Indian: From Afghanistan to them giving Iranian port that has cause so mush violence and terrorism in our Province of Baluchistan. Tehran hates Pakistan. We should stand by the Saudis who have been true friends and helped us through difficult times.

What specific interest is being protected here by entering a conflict against the Houthis?

Highlight something tangible, because right now I see little to nothing for the average Pakistani, but a lot of wealth, GCC postingS etc for the Fauji brass and business deals for the elites.

Because as we don’t drill for oil and gas in Pakistan. So we need to be friends with a country like Saudia Arabia who do drill. And allows millions of Pakistanis citizens working there. That comment points to Houthi-Iran coordination and Iranian deployment of military advisors on the ground. Pakistan did this and much more in Afghanistan and yet the Taliban were/are not subservient to Pakistan.

So the comment, on its own, does not prove that the Houthis are Iranian proxies or that they take their orders from Iran.
