Pakistan vows to defend Saudi Arabia against Iran-backed Houthis by ‘whatever means’

No, because they attack the Yemeni Government and Saudi Arabia at the behest of Iran.

Says who?... The Saudis attacked the Ansar Allah first and tried to oppress them. Houthis are independent of Iran. They make their own decisions.

Do you want to grow khat there ?

The land stretching from Aden to Ma'rib. and all lands of Sheba and all bootys in Djibouti, and all of Soma and Mali lands have been promised to the Sindhi Manus by GM Syed who appeared in dreams of 7 sisters on seven consecutive nights in 7 cities of Sindh.

ummmm aksually i....t started as infighting between abdullah saleh the yemeni govt trying to arrest hussein alhouthi but botched it and ended up killing him in 2004 which sparked a riot and kept spreading.
it was only until 2009 when the nearly constant firing at the Saudi border guards and incursions into border villages that the saudi govt got involved kinetically

Saudis have been barbaric murdering civilians.

recall what Saudis did to Janat Al Baqi..
and Meccah and Madina when they sacked both cities ?
for almost a decade they have embargoed an entire country and are no less than Israelis when it comes to indiscriminate bombings.

its a given that Saudis will not help Pakistan against Indians and Afghans Turks will ( as they did before).

its not unthinkable a false flag can bring gullible pakistanis to send troops to the meat grinder called Yemen.
Why is it that the only ones gullible are Pakistanis and that too the ones that are the closest to the situation on the ground?

Yemen's situation needs to be talked out. I think both sides have a PoV and one cannot say Saudis are all wrong and Yemenis are all right.

Pakistan is not sending troops inside of Yemen. We did not send any troops to Iraq, when we were under FAR greater pressure and we will not send our troops to fight someone else's war.

You would be surprised as to what your generals are willing to do for the Zionist Aal-e-Saud, and the added dollar benefits that follow after.

Very bleak outlook of the future...

My generals would do the exact same as what my politicians have done, including Imran Khan, so let's not kid ourselves with this grandstanding.

Bro but military decisions in Pakistan, regretfully, are solely made by the army and the civilian government does not paly a role bigger than being a blind thappey-wala.

Danda deke kuch bhi manwa lou, bloody civilians hi hain, kia kar lenge.

So the onus is on the military establishment when it comes to military matters.

The Houthis are some of the most sophisticated militant groups in the world. Your country has struggled, and in many ways, has seceded major chunks of territory to the Baloch and TTP groups. What value is Pakistan going to add by joining Riyadh’s war of choice against Yemen except by being cannon fodders?

Besides, the Houthis are a major, and perhaps the most potent Iranian proxy today. Do you think Iran is going to watch Pakistan join a war against its main proxy? The Iranians will most likely retaliate by arming and facilitating the Baloch groups that are now the shadow government in your Balochistan. The Iranians were already hosting RAW and the other Indian agencies involved in the insurgency in Pakistan. They will simply re-engage them.

This whole Pakistan Turkey Saudi Defense (PTSD) Agreement is nothing more than a glorified mercenary setup. Much like the Trump sycophancy by the self-appointed Field Marshall, it’s another way for the army generals to remain relevant externally.

You can call it ‘whataboutism’ but these are the hard facts.
Waiting for any actual hard facts in your post other than a response best classified at "frothing at the mouth"

That is both true - but also untrue.
There is a "my way or danda way" with the faujis and that is their mentality you cannot change until either hell comes or Pakistan breaks up(likely not then).

But then there are state compulsion because some 60 years of rule have bought you to this inability to survive without benefactors - and that reality dawned on the Imran "loin" Khan as well.

I guess your leading English newspaper is also “frothing at the mouth”

sitting in US and telling us that Pakistan has already ''ceded'' Balochistan and KP. That alone shows how little you actually know about Pakistan beyond propaganda posts.

Pakistan is the only country that broke TTP control over its mountain strongholds, something US and its dozen allies failed to do in Afghanistan after 20 years. So spare us lectures on fighting militants. we know how to do it.

Pakistan is not going there as cannon fodder. It can provide drones, air defence, intelligence, aviation, naval support and advisers from its spare capacity.

And Iran arming terrorists against Pakistan is not some future threat, they have played these proxy games for decades and allowed India to operate from Chabahar against us. If Iran does it again, it will be treated appropriately as well.

Calling a defence pact mercenary setup does not make it one.

You have offered no hard facts, Half is exaggeration and the other half is your imagination
