Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

Will not happen, as we have already seen this year.
Nothing has concluded yet. But I actually regret making that comment in the heat of the moment, it's maddening to see someone so flippant and gleeful at the suffering of our people, I can never understand that mentality. I actually don't want Iran or it's innocent people to suffer the way we did, it's immortal, and their governments crimes is not on them.

But I sure hope the extremist regime there falls or has a serious makeover and moderates so they no longer have this fanatic zeal to subjugate everyone in the region under their boots through violence and bloodshed. Hope this war ends quickly with a positive outcome, both for Iranians and everyone else in the region.

Jolani cannot say no if his Turkish handlers and Saudi funders want him to fight in Yemen.

Syria post-war is geninuely the fastest recovery from a war ever in the modern history..

Syria: Work to complete the Arab gas pipeline in Syria has begun. The project will connect Jordan to Turkey via Syria, with a transport capacity of up to 11 million m³ of gas per day, ultimately paving the way for gas delivery to Turkey and, potentially, to the European market.

it already happened

Fake news.

And we really don't want to get involved in Yemen, that would be a very unpopular move right now, there is no appetite for more blood shed amongst the majority of Syrians. We need to focus on rebuilding our country and forces and prepare for the next major war at our door step, nothing else.

I was not hinting at syria in yemen and there is no need for them there..

I was hinting at Sharaa cleaning the majoos

Again, that means nothing until the government announces they changed their position, which to this point has been a hard pass, this wasn't the first time Saudi requested help.

Israel and the US have been heavily pressuring us to go into Lebanon for over a year now to do their bidding against Hezbollah, and the government still resisted and said no.

If they can't pressure us to do that, Saudi and Turkey wont either. And Saudi hasn't funded shit, its all been just talk and empty promises. I wish they sent some funding, we desperately need it right now, that was the point of Sharaa's visit, we need aid and investment just to feed our impoverished people, we're close to 90% poverty and the economy is dead. We need help to get back on our feet, hopefully not at the cost of more of our people dying, especially in foreign lands in a conflict that doesn't involve us.

Appreciate the optimism, but the reality on the ground is not that rosy. When you have nothing to start with, even bread crumbs look like a feast.

Unfortunately, we are in dire need of funds and investment just to get by month to month right now, the economy has deteriorated significantly since last year. The fuel price hikes from this war has been especially devastating for us. I posted some of the details of what we're going through a few weeks back if you are interested on this thread.

Hopefully things will turn for the better soon.

I love how your stance is based on one foreign person's alleged claims, who doesn't even have the balls to show his face. That explains it all I guess, case closed, that's all the proof anyone needs, let's just completely ignore literal decades and mountains of evidence that shows the actual reality. Incredible how little it takes to live and stay in your own make belief world, must be so blissful.

Glad Iran doesn't need Syria, maybe they should've figured that out beforehand and saved themselves from turning into another pariah, and not pissed away $50B to prop up their butcher Assad and destroyed an entire nation and millions of innocent lives. Imagine if that was spent on your people instead. Hopefully now you will leave us alone for good. We want nothing to do with you as long as that regime is in charge.

I love how your stance is based on one foreign person's alleged claims,

In the old forum I ran entire threads about it:

Ya, you're not the only one either. Propaganda is Iran's and their supporters forte, they didn't have me, my family and the majority of the region's people fooled before for no reason. We truly believed their BS, and thought of them as the champion of the oppressed Muslims. Boy were we wrong.

At the end of the day, your deeds are what reveals the truth, and the entire region has woken up from their lies, unfortunately at great cost to us specifically. That's why millions of Muslims, especially Sunnis, that used to support Iran has turned against it, and now only sees the regime as just another extremist group using their own distorted version of Islam to further their own imperial ambitions and selfish goals, just like ISIS did. It has nothing to do with helping the Palestinians and Muslims to free them from their oppressors, they were more happy to do the same.
