India Has Lost Air Superiority to Pakistan, No Jets Left to Fight

Retired Indian army officer confirmed these things.

Insas rifle was a failure
Arjun Tank is a junk.
Tejas and Kaveri projects failed
Operation Sindoor was a failure.

And yet...

Drop in terrorism
More international defense exports
PA tied up inside Pakistan battling internal situation

Wish that India remains a failure... else,

India's defense budget is almost nine times that of Pakistan's, yet Pakistan has fielded an Air Force that is both robust and at full strength. Its indigenous JF-17 program is more successful than the Tejas, which is not yet operational. What is PAC doing better than HAL? It has rapidly acquired J-10CEs, and J-35Es are coming soon, giving it fifth-generation fighter capability while India is nowhere close to achieving it.

I don't know what the Indian government is doing, but it's not enough. The IAF should be given higher priority, with more resources. PSU's like HAL need to be reformed or just privatized. Perhaps giving the private sector more contracts will help. But whatever the problems are, they need to be addressed.

No one said India was a failure. There are many successes, but the IAF still has shortcomings that need to be addressed.

What or should I ask where exactly is the money be transfered.

9 Times and yet your Air Force just recently retired the MiG-21.

It (still) tragically fields the Jaguar and has started buying used airframes from God knows where all.

There could be an argument made for the MiG-29, but its still a potent a/c & certainly has more life in it - than the Jag.

Keeping the JF-17/Tejas out of the conversation, but, how is it possible for a Nation that has a Defence budget 9-Times more than the adversary to have got 16 More Jets (36 Rafales), compared to 20 (J-10c) - since the last Air Skirmish.

No Offence, but all of your Indian Military Forum & Podcast say with you kind of Defence Budget & "bhikari" Pakistan's state, it will be a walk-over Pakistan.

For arguments sake if there were NO winners after last year's conflict - how much of a walk-over do you think Pakistan truly is?

With India's budget - you should have inducting 2 Squadrons every year & i'm not talking about that flying garbage TEJAs which truly is a cursed jet - no matter how much any of you may pretend to like.

India pvt sector is sending commercial and spy setallites (self-reliance). be ware. PAF needs dominance in that domain also.

No disagreements on requirement to do better esp. the fighter aircraft part (dogfights / aerial superiority). On A2G, IAF is far superior as we saw in Sindoor. In A2A, PAF is equivalent in short skirmishes, in longer duration (a month) - I believe IAF will have the edge.

Pakistan carries on despite the local terrorism abetted by India
Security alignment and greater defense interactions with countless countries in the ME
No reduction in Indian military deployment in IIOK (near 700,000) because the threat of the Kashmir freedom movement/insurgency remains
Much better economic fundamentals than before, better alignment with multiple power centers including China, US and the EU.

Pakistan is accustomed to instability..nothing stops..life goes on multiple other fronts.
