You got data to prove it or you're gonna eat crap that politicians serve (and I mean all of them)? Calling someone "indentured" servants doesn't make them one - tell me is there any legal binding on these employees from say big 4 Indian IT companies that they can't leave the job and join another organization?
Can you at least define what part of the job is "indentured" and why you believe so?

Why attack the OP? He merely quoted what Vance said? Or did not Vance say that? You Indians must fear if and when the huge, huge IT gravy train comes to a stop. Not only there is the direct $$ from that but the 'image' from that also yields much more to India indirectly.

Omg … same here in United Kingdom London . Go to any fuel station / Hotels / and retailers Sainsbury’s, Tesco , Lidl , uber delivery service / couriers DPD awful drivers etc it’s all Indians.
We were told we would be get getting doctors and engineers from India .... lol instead we got cheap unskilled labor

The "IT" image as you put is too simplistic i.e., most of my batchmates (and yes I realize its a bubble) in US (around 1/3rd of a batch of 120) clear half a mil in tech easy. Some of us have been serial founders, others are Directors/VPs. Now if Indians are indentured, I wonder how we moved upwards in the "pyramid"

Folks are free to have an opinion but data doesn't lie - highest paid group, most bachleors/masters per capita, least school drop out rates, stable marriages, least crime (per capita) - what Vance is saying isn't true - not even for the firms that have been banned.

But one thing made me smile:

Their art is to sweet talk mate , be convincing and anything can be done and solved. Once hired, the department becomes dark with them, promises but deliver half bake or nondeliveries.
By that time, damage is done, and the Department falls into slippery slope of disaster. Too bad. I know English skilled friends who have worked with indians and have all come to this conclusion.. lol
