The Army stole the Pakistani people's mandate for the federal government in 2024 and has now stolen the KP people's mandate in 2026. But that is not the whole story, as the army has been consistently meddling in politics and sabotaging Pakistan's political development since the 1950's.
The TTP and BLA now have the entirely of Afghanistan as their strategic depth and their sponsors, the Taliban, are enjoying improved relations with Russia, India and many other nations. Additionally the people of KP and Baluchistan have been brutalized and cheated so many times by the khakis that their support for them is now zero. I repeat zero. Anyone who thinks this move will reduce terrorism in the provinces is not aware of ground realities.
