The most dishonest takes on the imposition of emergency here would start off by normalizing the emergency: “Now that an emergency has been imposed,” and then adding their honest advice on how “it is an opportunity to fix…” and then concluding with a sense of urgency: “It is time to deliver.”Such takes address everything except the elephant in the room, and they are not just naive takes. They serve to normalize tyranny by giving it an intellectul cover.
