Federal cabinet gives nod to imposition of emergency in KP; summary sent to president

Imo nothing can happen worse in BA And KPK. Already rock bottom. Only making border strong, place mining for illegal crossing like India, send all Afghan refuge back, arrest all pti mpa who wants to do youthipa, find Murad Saeed and trail him.

Brilliant post. I wonder if some will get the reference.
Its a ticking disaster.

A 1996 model SSR-x twin cabin driven from kabul loaded with small drones , unleashed on a security installment like a HQ or Peshawar AFB or a Govt building wher all the well paid babay sit and then things will start moving as all the VIPs sitting in KPK will realize that everyones and anyones times has come. No one is safe anymore.

100% sir and the best part is even the sane voices are now acting like war trumpets.

Ullu kay phattay. :/

This also includes some posters in defense forum who use to advise and dreaming about Pakistan being doomed if Imran Khan is not released.

I would disagree and not from a place of pessimism but more so from a place of current environment that has led to an overstreched hand.
The bigger issue is that not only that PTI is basically in the transition phase from where Awami league was sheltering militants to now moving to open separatist calls - it is also that Imran Khan may actually be open to pivoting to being Fakhr-e-Afghan ala Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan. Remember, the man loves his underdog rebel victory narrative above all else because that is his ultimate romanticism.

Basically when you start having the taste of immortality projects - like 92 cup where this cornered man who will not fold becomes the story. He said on record that his family had come from Afghanistan centuries earlier and that his pride of race drives him. For his man compromise is basically his end, his myth - the man who would not bend. People who are obsessed with their symbol image no longer care for the politics which is an admirable trait until it will lead to what is going to happen to Pakistan not because he is directing it - but because now his monster(or rather the military creating this by their usual brutal hand) is going to be out of his control and he wont control it for the reasons before.
The biggest disservice is being done by overseas Pakistanis on Twitter who have nothing to lose, casually urging people to replicate what the BLA is doing or indirectly suggesting that escalating TTP attacks are somehow justified. These people will never bear the consequences of the bloodshed they are encouraging. This same ishq-e-Imrani, the blind romanticisation of one man and his struggle, has helped bring us to this point.

Yes, the military deserves blame for its brutal, short-sighted policies and its role in creating this environment. But PTI cannot keep washing its hands of responsibility either. Its increasingly instrumental use of the Pashtun card, amplified by vloggers like Wajahat and Shehbaz, is helping normalise a narrative that Pashtun rights have been systematically taken away and that the state has left peaceful resistance with no meaningful avenues.

There is a dangerous difference between demanding rights and creating a political atmosphere in which rebellion or armed insurrection begins to appear justified. When people repeatedly hear that their community has been wronged, that the state is irredeemably hostile, and that militant violence is an understandable response, the line between political grievance and the legitimisation of violence starts to erode. You cannot spend years romanticising defiance, delegitimising every institution and framing politics as an existential struggle, then act surprised when some people take that rhetoric somewhere far more dangerous. And the overseas cheerleaders encouraging this from a safe distance will never have to live with the consequences that ordinary Pakistanis, especially Pashtuns, will face.

Form-47 rule is just easier to live with than martial law. A coup has to be declared, defended, and someday walked back to keep international eyes happy.

This is ultimate "legitimacy" for them. Parliament working, prime minister smiling and taking all the heat for their screw ups.

This wont happen in Punjab because that is where recruitment will be , the money comes from there and their political partner that legitimizes this stage drama.
Just as Imran Khan wont do a deal because it would end his "immovable object" myth... the guys wont do a coup now because that takes out their story of "we respect and live within the system.

You think they havent learned lessons from Zia or Mushy? - They day they go "We run the show" publicly - every dead body from north to south, every fuel price increase and burnt babies are their problem...and no 2-star likes to be hated by the people and his subordinates.
Yes, sui gas whole Punjab enjoyed since 50s and few miles away Quetta got in 70s.
End democracy , impose permanent Marshal law ...justifications are irrelevant in the country. KPK is battlefield since 79, then comes good Taliban and bad Taliban. Time to have pure dictatorship.

Ngas can keep harping about IK and PTI excessively and skirt away from the injustices.

The thing is, fauj sent IK to prison. Radicalized PTI. Again broke it's provincial government in KPK. They keep insulting Pashtuns and everyone who's from KP or lived long enough there would know it's being taken as a Middle finger to entire KPK.

In not long term, theyd be shoving this middle finger back to fauj

Well 2.5 years they will have their litmus test.

In trying to make a point you start from " ا ". Then completely ignore the problem at hand....

There was nothing stopping PTI from delivery in KPK where they enjoyed extreme favor from deep state for majority of their rule..

ultimately that is the crux of it.
It is the people of KP, and Pakistan, who judge whether PTI was delivering or not. In their view, PTI was delivering and worthy of being voted for again, most recently in 2024 with a supermajority in KP and also at the federal level, necessitating another massive federal rigging op by the fauji snakes.

I don't get your "litmus test". If the Faujis and their current puppets don't deliver, well they can just continue lying, cheating and ruling by the gun, just like every year since 1958 😊 We see there is no shortage of boomer uncles and brainwashed youth who think this zillat is the best Pakistan can do.

PTI is now released from any accountability and can focus entirely on opposition politics. Another smoothbrain move by Meri Jind Meri Jaan.

All bullshit. Not even 50 people came out in Peshawar in support of PTI goons. Look at the stupid claims of those brainless idiots before their government was dismissed. We will come back and storm Peshawar rather than going to Sawabi if governor's rule is imposed in KPK.

The coward PTI leaders ran away even from their long march, leaving their truck deserted, to escape from KPK police and hid themselves like coward rats.

If this person was in another country than they would have live executed just by saying that Army is planning to do 9th May on TTP as false flag. In any other country you execute terrorist not hugging them, making them Franchsise, taking extortions on behalf on them, ttp and afghan refuge room in KPK like government senior officer. This is the blessing by 14 years of rule by our greatest leader.

Come on...that is a very reductive view of the whole situation.

IK or PTI or the public just one day woke up and decided to be how they are? It was a completely self made decision?

You put IK in jail and every sane leader either bribed, threatened, or jailed. And when the third tier leadership who were students of some no name university in 2010 become someone's in the party, then you complain WTF is PTI doing.

It's like you keep on beating a guy with your buddies and then complain why doesn't he get up.

Public discourse has made IK into some demi god or something and anyone can attach whatever label they want to him at their convenience.

How hard is it to admit that it's the same old crap that we've been seeing since 50 odd years going on again, and the issue isn't really PTI or IK?

10 years later it'll be Abdul Rauf and not IK...

Very good. Kill all the general public. Only slaves and Generals shall remain.
Which public? Are you talking of the people of KPK? They distributed sweets with joy after these the @ss of these filthy crooks was kicked out.
What these goons have given to the people of KPK in last 14 years? No medical facilities, no education, no protection of life and property. Only mega corruption scandals.

Afterall, these filthy crooks are the followers of a bloody crook who is now rotting in jail in multiple cases of corruption.

one of the downsides is that PTI will wave the victim card and win the next elections again claiming it never got the chance to serve its people (although we all know that it has no intention of doing so other than using the resources on organising war marches on Punjab.)
No victim card. The people of KPK seem to hate PTI more than the people in other provinces.

Terrorists come from Afghanistan, explode themselves in mosques, security check posts, offices of LEAs mostly in KPK and kill scores of innocent people. You'll see hardly a house in KPK that have not lost a member of their extended family in these terrorist attacks.

The provincial PTI government, rather than mobilizing general public and actively fighting those terrorists, would try to shield them and justify their terrorist attacks. The PTI minister would not even attend funeral prayers of Shuhada or go for condolences. Ultimately the people of KPK themselves picked up guns to fight the terrorists.

The people of KPK are not dumb. They see all this dirty game of the political wing of terrorist TTP, i.e. PTI, and their disgusting lies and excuses. The enemy can use social media to create narratives of their choice but these narratives remain merely a thingy of social media.

These social media campaigns and trends have no effect on the people who have experienced the pain by themselves in person.

Now that state resources are no more at the disposal of PTI goons and criminals, we will see how many times they come even in the open. These filthy cowards used to taunt the people of Punjab for not coming out on the streets. We'll all see how these cowards value their own words and claims.

But no one should keep any hope from the bloody PTI cowards at all.
