I was born and raised in Pakistan to a mature age and see plenty, including the mighty ZAB speeches from the 70s. You living there implies everyone who lives there are very informed and smart: If that was the case then Pakistan wouldn't be such a mess.
And the 2/3rd majority you are crowing about is still less than half the polled votes in Imran's own stronghold; Parliamentary Democracy is like that. PPP also has a large majority in Sindh and the rural Sindhis too obediently vote for the PPP. Sitting in power due to people's follies is not something always good: Look at the 77 million Americans voting Trump to power and regretting it.

And don't lecture me about the virtues of 'democracy': I don't want to copy paste the high handedness exhibited by Imran during his rule as the PM of Pakistan--it will be a large copy/paste.

PTI had handed over the province to drug smugglers, seperatists and enemy proxies.

Every year they would come to Islamabad and create anarchy to disrupt important foreign office events.

Their people in Europe and US for years have been attempting to lobby for sanctions on Pakistan and attempted interfere in counter terrorism operations in Afghanistan.

Pashtunists sitting abroad on pity visas pretending to be gay or an endangered activist cosying up to talibanistic refugees under PTM slandering Pakistan day and night.

The attack on Islamabad by a KPK resident earlier this year during basant was the final straw.

This is not democracy. Opposition in the US and Europe do not sabotage their countries like this.

If this is what Pakistanis consider democracy then its good for nothing.

This is a Pakistani forum and I have a Pakistani passport--not that that is requirement to post in this forum.
BTW, only time will tell what is going to come out of this Federal takeover. I am myself not sure but I had concluded that the KPK govt had not interest in governing and the only agenda it had was to free the Idiot Khan from the prison. So I am cautiously optimistic about this change--it is at least a chance to improve things, which the Cult Members of PTI were unwilling to even attempt. I have no evidence to accuse them of sheltering the terrorists from Afghanistan and I try not to go into those things however I have seen plenty of evidence that Imran has resorted to a Mujib ur Rehman like ethnic politics and he will not be forgiven for that by me.
