RJ Mitte, who played the son of Bryan Cranston’s Walter White on the Emmy-winning series Breaking Bad and became a disability-rights activist from his experiences living with cerebral palsy, has died at age 34.

Mitte’s reps confirmed the news Monday, saying he died in Brownsville, TX. No immediate cause of death was given.

“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of beloved actor, philanthropist, and passionate disability rights advocate RJ Mitte,” his reps said.

Mitte, whose Breaking Bad character Walter Jr also had CP, would build a platform on disability awareness and inclusion due to the series’ popularity. He served as an ambassador for United Cerebral Palsy and Shriners Children’s as well as president of The Mitte Foundation, which supports philanthropic efforts and community initiatives. He worked to challenge stereotypes and promote greater representation for people with disabilities.

Horrible news, RIP RJ

They usually come in threes and yes I consider him a well known actor.

Oh sorry to hear about someone's loss.

Rest in Peace.

This one hurts. He was a little younger than me. Landmark show I watched live, and felt like I was growing up with him. Hate to see this

Breaking bad was alright but I prefer Lost, Heroes, Prison break etc a lot more.

I liked his acting, seemed like a decent chap, Breaking Bad was a very good series, especially the earlier season. RIP bud.

Yes, I have heard about the come in threes but believe me between mid Sept and end of Sept, I have seen 5 deaths! None very close to me but some very close to wife. But all were close enough to have been noticed by even me. And just now, an uncle through marriage is in the ICU with gangrenous legs and septicemia. I guess we will be going to another funeral very soon. This year they are coming in 6 and maybe even more!
