The below image is what you can call an actual "Hypersonic" missile because it has an HGV. US Army just recently tested its Black Beard Ground Launched Hypersonic missile. Lets hope our Fatah series evolves into this soon.

May be there is some mid phase boost, best option would be to have a second boost upon re-entry that accelerates the kill vehicle beyond Mach 5, for the last critical part of the flight.......

Theoretically, this can be done. In reality, no one does this.

For any missile, the warhead is the component that ultimately delivers the actual combat effect; the other parts merely serve to transport it safely to the designated target.

Consequently, the ratio of the warhead to the missile as a whole is of critical importance. At the same time, the missile's overall weight and volume directly impact the safety and operational convenience of the missile system.

The upper bottom fins are gone, while you see a there are now fins on the warhead section.
I don't know why they called F2 ER, from what it looks this is the much talked F5.

They mention Fatah 2 but it should be Fatah 3 right?

Fatah 3 has already been introduced as HD-1 supersonic ground launched cruise missile.

[maxpane]

fateh 2 has a range from 240 to 400 km .this time they did not even disclose range ,missile shape and target hitting

[Bilal]

I may be wrong but it seems it's a reworked Abdali missile.

The Silhouette of projectile is similar to Abdali missile

After @JamD ran his sims and deconstructed the specs of previous test, they stopped showing detailed high(er) quality videos.

There is no officially set definition of Hypersonic. But anything flying above Mach 5 is Hypersonic.
Shaheen 3 Warhead has a terminal velocity of 22226 Km per hour. Even Ghauri had a stated maximum speed of 4km Per second .
Both these velocities are Hypersonic.
