Why can't Pakistan put the pressure on instead of asking others to do it?

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday called upon the international community to pressure Israel to halt its “oppression of Palestinians”, state-run Radio Pakistan reported.
In his message on the International Al-Quds Day — observed on the last Friday of Ramazan to express solidarity with the people of Palestine struggling against Israeli occupation — the premier strongly denounced Israeli atrocities in Gaza.
The premier noted that more than 32,000 Palestinians, including 17,000 children, had been killed and 70,000 others injured since Israel launched its offensive in the Palestinian enclave in retaliation to the Oct 7 surprise Hamas attacks. Hospitals, refugee camps and children’s schools have deliberately been targeted and access to humanitarian aid has been blocked, he added.
PM Shehbaz regretted that despite the ceasefire resolution passed by the UN Security Council, the unprovoked bombing of innocent civilians in Gaza was still continuing, the report stated.

The prime minister asserted that Pakistan would continue to provide “moral and diplomatic support to armless Palestinian brothers and sisters until the liberation of the Palestinians from the Israeli occupation and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state according to the pre-1967 borders”.
The premier appealed to Muslims across the world to remember their Palestinian and Kashmiri brothers and sisters on the occasion of Jummatul Wida (the last Friday of Ramazan).
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said Israel would not be able to subjugate Palestinians through violence and oppression.
In a statement posted on the PML-N’s X account, she condemned the “Zionist state atrocities on the Palestinian brothers and sisters”.
CM Maryam called upon the international community and the United Nations Security Council to play their role in bringing an end to the ongoing “Israeli brutality”. “Peace across the world would remain a dream unless the Palestine and Kashmir issues are not solved,” she added.

… beggars can't be choosers on who they can apply pressure works the other way around. Lol.

Hazrat Ali (RA) said, that one who's hands are in the begging position can never be in the giving position. It's actually, a curse from God the one who begs will continue begging.

May Allah protect us.

But Pakistan did table the current resolution that was adopted yesterday and supported by 55 countries before the vote. So there is that.

You know sometimes when you use harsh language like beggar's so freely you internalise the words and reduce your own dignity and self worth, slowly it happens.

the elite let's call them, who have created this predicament are not actually beggars, they have just made everyone else into beggar's and happy to keep it that way.

Have a sharp lament but I suppose also follow through with action and example.

It was obvious a month in Muslim nations would do nothing for Gaza, but then do you not have Muslim people who can do something? This is where endless lament gets you, clouded vision and inaction, the solutions won't come from a government committee.

Pakistanis are doing things but leadership are in a bind and stuck in second gear due to committing suicide politically and strategically with partners.

I know and they need to support each other as much as possible.

It feels like the nation is at a point where the mutual contract the citizens agree with one another is what the future will become, lament or action.

100 % correct.

Walking into a home that was bombed but the Quran could be heard on a small device found there. It was reciting Sura Baqarah, specifically the portion about Banu Israel (Verses 40-43). Verse 42 can more clearly heard.

Surah 2 Al-Baqarah, Ayat 40-43

(2:40) Children of Israel! Recall My favour which I had bestowed on you, and fulfil your covenant with Me and I shall fulfil My covenant with you, and fear Me alone.

(2:41) And believe in the Book which I have revealed and which confirms the Scripture you already have, and be not foremost among its deniers. Do not sell My signs for a trifling gain, and beware of My wrath.

(2:42) Do not confound Truth by overlaying it with falsehood, nor knowingly conceal the Truth.

(2:43) Establish Prayer and dispense Zakah (the Purifying Alms) and bow in worship with those who bow.

lol British Police arrested the Pro Israel Iranian Niyak Ghorbani who burns Qurans and invaded pro-Palestinian protests to start fights.

He was arrested when he tried to cross into the Palestinian march during Al Quds Day in London:

The question is not why Shehbaz Sharif personally is not doing more. The question is why Pakistan as a state is not doing more.

The term 'beggar' is apt because we are not talking about his personal wealth but the standing of the country and to what level they have lowered it.

So that's a question we ask ourselves, family and other allies.

If the state is clearly inept and inert then you don't flog a dead horse.

it's obvious you take some level of individual responsibility and action, that's really my point, change the internal conversation.

These Iranian monarchists and nationalists types have lost all moral decency recently.

By all means agitate against the mullahs or be pro monarchy, but at the expense of cheerleading genocide?

A few I see are hiding behind a faux British nationalist pro Tommy Robinson facade to further Persian nationalist goals, just ridiculous.

They forget the shah of Iran didn't like Zionists and Zionists don't want a strong Persia!

Israel is planning to destroy Quds mosque during the Iranian missile attack and blame Iranian missiles.

Beware
