Starting to like this guy man he can’t come out and just say it though maybe if the republicans get butchered and trump becomes neutered after the midterms he might actually be able to say what’s on his mind @AZ_HighCountry he should have started distancing himself a long time ago he actually might have been a decent president but with everything going on and an extremely unstable Trump I don’t see that happening

He can resign any time he wants if he is truly against it. Vance is just another opportunist who would fully support the war if it was going well. Same with the democrats, their "opposition" would never have materialized if trumpy had gotten his vuvuzela op part 2 like he wanted.

Don’t disagree but unless he decides to jump ship to democrats but I still like him better than any other republican at least he’s bashed Israel and Bibi on a number of occasions and not behind closed doors he knows Bibi is a snake

Sounds ominous. I wonder what that means, does it have to do with Pakistan itself or Pakistani involvement in the ME. Hope nothing flares up there as well, that would be a whole other can of worms the world doesn't need right now.

Aside from that he changes his spots. 10 years ago he came off as a moderate when he wrote hillbilly elegy and appeared on CNN many times.

He also called Trump at the time "America's Hitler"

As far as the 2028 prospects, a little early but if I had to make a choice now it would be Marco Rubio over JD Vance every time
