The Prime Minister of Singapore travels on official duty aboard a low-cost airline

This is a "traditional" political stunt in Singapore.

It serves no practical purpose; it is purely a political show.

Singapore is an extremely wealthy nation. For its government, a VIP private jet is the equivalent of an everyday passenger car. Yet, these politicians choose to do the exact opposite by publicly flying on budget airlines. This is a classic political stunt.

Let’s be realistic! For politicians, safe and efficient modes of travel should always be the priority. The specific method of transport chosen should simply be appropriate given the nation’s overall circumstances. For a politician from a highly affluent country to deliberately opt for this approach clearly contradicts basic common sense. There is only one reason for such behavior: a political stunt.
Not everyone in Singapore is wealthy. the bottom 20% of citizens are struggling

The greatest benefit of this kind of political theater is that it intensely stirs up public sentiment in other countries—while simultaneously burnishing the image of the Singaporean government!

When citizens of other nations witness such political theater from Singapore, they immediately draw comparisons to the politicians in their own countries—much like you are doing now.

In reality, this is a sophisticated form of political attack.
Out of this forum and maybe a few Malaysians who like to keep a scorecard on Singapore, no one is paying attention to what the Singapore PM is doing or flying

Pakistan doesn’t have low cost airlines to begin with.. so they can’t travel

Singapore doesn’t have Talibaboons like us so their politicians don’t die in random terrorist attacks

Not sure why we make such comparisons.

PS: I noticed the security in London is tightened since last couple of weeks, possibly due to reports of potential attack anticipated after the RAF Fairford saga… and Pakistan has faced such attacks for decades… not just anticipation
When was the last time an airliner was bombed in a terrorist attack in Pakistan?

Even the "20% of Singaporean citizens struggling at the bottom" that you mentioned are far better off than the vast majority of India's middle class. So, this isn't a question you can understand.

For Indians who have been completely brainwashed by Hinduism, this topic is entirely meaningless.

Even though India exhibits an extreme wealth gap—with the vast majority of the nation’s wealth concentrated in the hands of a tiny number of ultra-wealthy individuals—the Indian people see no issue with this. They willingly accept their roles as modern-day slaves to these super-rich elites!
