Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

Houthi terrorists cannot achieve a meaningful victory over Saudi Arabia by using these missile and done attacks. Like any other terrorist group, Houthis want to spread terror in Saudi people by attacking Saudi civil infrastructure including airports.

Saudi must not get cowed down by these Houthi terrorists for the sake of civilized world. Or else terrorists all over the world will replicate the same terror tactics to blackmail governments and states.

If anything, the world should go and punish the masters, i.e. Irani mullahs and their IRGC goons, of these Houthi terrorists for the sake of a safer world.

I think Saudi foraying into the mountains of Yemen would be worse than another Afghanistan.Saudi Arabian should be hesitant to take any military force into that kind of theatre perfect for Gorilla warfare even with a highly capable force will struggle in Yemen terrain.
And its very unlikely of Houthis to invade Saudi Arabia that’s when Pakistani troops and Mecca Pact will be activated to attack .

The Saudis should reach out to the Brits for a primer on mountain warfare against a guerilla force. The Brits performed quite well. Their lessons would be a benefit to the Saudis and Paks.

I mentioned this before on here maybe it’s a silly idea!

Why don't the Saudi's create a foreign legion, similar to France's? They can certainly afford it. Give the Foreign Legion soldiers a stake and have Saudis officers join making it clear that they are all in it together!

In a way they have.

They have the US and Pakistan for the majority of their defense needs in the hardware department and how to use it.

They have Israel for the really cloak and dagger back room dark alley stuff.

Yemen's Ansarallah(goverment of capital SANAA) successfully attacked the Saudi-led Defense Ministry headquarters on Thursday, in response to Saudi attacks in previous days against Yemeni government buildings in Sana'a. Furthermore, in recent hours, attacks were also carried out on Dammam International Airport in eastern Saudi Arabia—disrupting air traffic—and Abha International Airport in the southwest of the country.

NOTE: Ansarallah is supported by Iran, China, and North Korea.

To fight is to terrorise your enemies

therefore everyone who is fighting is a terrorist

Keep using that word like it means anything is futile
But not terrorize the civilians..otherwise you become a real terrorist..

Turkish officials have stated that there are plans that include strengthening the technical presence and emergency response teams, with the possibility of sending combat elements, aircraft, pilots and a limited number of special forces, but only after obtaining parliamentary approval. Officials indicated that Ankara does not intend to deploy large numbers of soldiers or intervene directly in Yemen.

A Turkish official told Reuters that Turkey's contribution so far has focused on military equipment, intelligence sharing, and weapons systems. Ankara has also agreed to join a Saudi-led coalition to bolster maritime security in the Red Sea.

These Turkish preparations coincide with the expansion of international military support for Saudi Arabia.
