Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

The Public Road Transport Authority, in collaboration with Al Muhannadi Company for Roads and Contracting, completed the topographic survey for the Tanf–Al-Basiri Road Project and the Sabiya Connection, spanning 215 kilometers, within seven hours, using three-dimensional mobile scanning technology.

Mastercard has launched a digital payments gateway in Syria, aimed at developing the financial infrastructure, facilitating electronic transactions, and strengthening the market's connection to the global payments ecosystem.

The company explained, in a statement reported by Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper on Wednesday, that the gateway enables banks and companies to process payments through traditional stores and e-commerce platforms, via a unified technological framework that includes tools for payment management and fraud protection.

The gateway operates through the company's Merchant Cloud platform, which provides solutions for digital commerce, including digital tokenization and data analytics, and supports companies' expansion into international markets.Adam Jones, Mastercard's Regional President for West Asia, stated that reconnecting Syria to the international payments system represents a step toward supporting economic recovery.

Meanwhile, Gaurang Shah, Executive Vice President for Merchant Acceptance and Commerce Solutions, clarified that the gateway will help Syrian banks expand acceptance of digital payments and provide secure payment methods for businesses, including small and medium-sized enterprises.

Syria has now objectively a matter economy then Iran and arguably even much stronger economy then Iran in the future despite just coming out a 15 years war.

Head-chopper fan-boi is spamming his excitement that (finally) there is money pouring into Syria now that his team have their regime change, but doesn't understand that none of it is for the benefit of Syrians, but is just part of the economic/financial colonisation that is typical when (foreign) victors move in to claim the spoils of "victory".

These boosters are too stupid to realise that the previous hard economic times were a deliberate sabotage of Syrias economy by her foreign enemies, and not due to Baathist "corruption" or "inefficiency" or "incompetance". Sanctions could have been lifted at any time, and foreign investement could have flowed too, but Syrias enemies wanted to destroy the country first. This is a dirty war tactic, and itS reversal at this stage isn't a vote of confidence in the new takfiri management, or any posiitve sign for the future. Its just the circling vultures have landed and are preparing the carcass for dismemberment and consumPtion by the new (non-Syrian) elites.

Bashar was not meant to be the successor of Hafez al Assad. The original designated successor was Basil al Assad who was much more competent but he died in a car crash in 1994. Bashar was meant to live a quiet life as a doctor in the UK and wasn't fit for ruling.

And what you wrote only applies to the period of the war, there were no sanctions on Syria before 2011. Could the west and others have helped fix the country? They could but it wasn't in their interest.

Where in Syria? I'm guessing it was in the North in Islamist sh__holes like Idlib? Or some other area where the likes of HTS are busy purging the population of anyone who won't sing their praises?

What "Syrians" think of Bashar al-Assad depends completely on their sectarian loyalities. Ask a Syrian Christian (endangered species in these times) and you'll get a very different answer.

Stupid anti-Iranian virulence from supporters of Wahhabi takfiri head-choppers is simply to be expected, and means precisely nothing.

All you can do is shit post here and there. Share shia posts from twitter.

When it comes to battle your kind is worthless and doomed to lose on every front.
