30 is a decent number but not enough.
I hope the Chinese improve Z10ME further (e.g. may be improve the engine) by the time or within a yr or so after the order is fulfilled.
wr would love to see 30 more new Helis in Pak Army. Be it T129 or a further imrpoved variant of Z10ME.
AH1s need to be retired or transferred to the western border to provide some support during ambush or when needed.

The use of drones on the frontlines through control by the WZ-10 pilot/WSO should be one of the milestones in combat. Thats what will make WZ-10 a major weapons platform which could make a difference in all spheres of combat.

None of Pakistan's conventional formations, be it armor or mechanized or infantry, constitute a dedicated gunship squadron attached to it. This mindset has to change also, as now drones are inducted at battalion level too. Still, the gap will remain as the GOC of the division should have UCAVs and Gunships at his disposal.

This is where the numbers game comes in. 30 or 48 or 72.

This is the aviation component of USA 1st Infantry Division:

1st Combat Aviation Brigade ("Demon Brigade")
Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC)

1st Battalion (Attack), 1st Aviation Regiment with 24 x AH-64D Apache Longbows
2nd Battalion (General Support), 1st Aviation Regiment with 8 x UH-60L Black Hawks, 12 x CH-47F Chinooks and 15 x HH-60M Black Hawks
3rd Battalion (Assault), 1st Aviation Regiment with 30 x UH-60M Black Hawks
601st Aviation Support Battalion

Thats like ~90 helicopters for an infantry division.

Bhai, Pakistan has no intention to invade Venezuela or Cuba....

Be realistic.......30 Z-10s at this technological level are far superior to 60 Helos of obsolete standard.

Similar to how J-10CEs knocked every jet of IAF out of sky clean sheet..........Quality vs Quantity.

But remember, quality matters too [quantity has its own quality]; against overwhelming opposition, we need some quantity for attrition and sustainability. PAA needs between 72 to 100 Z10ME to maintain a two-front offense, reinforce one front through attrition, and support multiple parallel offensive operations. Z10ME is an offensive platform. Along with Al Haider and SH15 supported by JF17C and J10CP. coupled with hangoor and sea sultan. Working in parallel with Rocket Force.
