When you live in a world "free of consequence of any of your decisions or actions" then you will go off the rails and think nothing is off the table. The west has created this petulant child and put no guard rails or consequences in its up bringing and now are wondering why the child has become so spoilt and out of control.

Israeli strike destroys Gaza school educating 350 children

An overnight Israeli airstrike on a residential building in the Saftawi area of Jabaliya, northern Gaza, destroyed the nearby Al-Zahraa makeshift tent school, which provided free education to approximately 350 children, as well as the Little Smile Kindergarten. The strike also damaged a camp sheltering displaced Palestinian families.

“All the desks and educational tents were destroyed. Even the stationery we had for students and teachers was ruined,” Mousa Zaqout, a teacher, told Drop Site’s Abdel Qader Sabbah. He said the volunteer-run school provided free education to children from the camp and surrounding areas.

“There is no ceasefire or anything like that on the ground,” Zaqout added. “Every hour, every moment, there is bombing and destruction.”

Gaza’s Ministry of Education condemned the destruction of the two educational facilities, describing Israel’s continued targeting of schools as part of a systematic destruction of education in Gaza.

He was someone that cared about his country and to me an effective military leader

Commander & Chief of the Al Qassam Brigades, differs from rest in Hamas in that he doesn't mention or speak about religion much. He was more private about that.

As a Palestinian I admire him, he gave up his personal life over the years, having to live in hiding for much of his life, to serve as a defender of Palestinian people, in his later life taking a more proactive stance in the forms of Sayf Al Quds and Toofan Al-Aqsa

He did not achieve his dream of liberating the entire state of Palestine and seeing it back in the hands of Palestinian people, but did make a genuine effort to achieve that. May God have mercy on him and us

I personally don't like Al Jazeera's presentation of his legacy (making them seem like supermen without feelings/emotions)

He was certainly worried for his people in the aftermath of Toofan Al-Aqsa and may have had regrets afterwards for his people's sake

And tried to come with a resolution to bring a halt to the relentless attacks on civilians but as a sole human being his capacity is limited
