Gun violence & Hate crime in the United States - Sticky

Yes School Shootings and Mass Shootings is a social problem in USA. So is Alcoholism as well.

Yes USA has a gun problem.

It is not a gun problem. My own guns are committing no crimes.

Look into the root cause a bit behind the school shootings. There are common themes to them.

We also have a drug problem here. I'll bet Canada does as well.

Canada does not have a gun problem like USA does.

What about mass shootings in USA? Too much mass shootings in USA.

Can you point out where I am disagreeing?

I am suggesting you look into the root causes for these mass shootings. The easy access to firearms is a strawman argument.

In the case of the school shootings, kids with mental issues have been the culprits. Add in drugs like Ritalin, and you are asking for trouble.

A friend of mine in New Zealand has a child with behavioral issues. He elected to part with his own firearms out of concern what might happen if the child were to access them.
