Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

Yet another plot twist

The UAE Is Secretly Helping Ansarallah Fight Saudi Arabia in Yemen

That is the problem in getting involved in these family run ego driven enterprises in the middle east. Both Türkiye and Pakistan approach the region through geostrategic lenses of strategic thought and interests, and what we have in Saudi v UAE is family feuds via other countries. The leadership process is not dynamic, and that is the problem with the whole of the middle east right now.

( Though Pakistan is now falling into not have a dynamic leadership with the rise of the "Field Marshal" - but that is a topic for a different thread ).

Yes, Yemen's Houthi rebels have advanced to within 80 kilometres (50 miles) of Aden, marking their closest approach to the temporary capital since the early months of the war in 2015. [1]

Key Details of the Advance
    • Distance to Aden: Military sources reported in early November 2026 that Houthi forces moved within roughly 80 km of the southern port city. [1, 2]
    • Territorial Shift: Following a broader offensive starting in September 2026 along Yemen's Red Sea coast and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, Houthi fighters captured the Al-Maqatirah district and pushed government troops back toward the Tur al-Bahah district in Lahj province. [1, 2]
    • Threatened Supply Lines: The push threatens key mountain positions and the main road linking Aden with the besieged city of Taiz. [1, 2]
    • Attacks on Infrastructure: Houthi forces have intensified long-range strikes and drone/missile attacks against Aden, targeting locations including the Aden International Airport, the Al-Maashiq presidential palace, and local military camps. [1, 2, 3]

Looks like Yemenis are feigning retreat in certain sectors to advance further in more important sectors

This is not true my brother..

I have already mentioned it that unit was not very large and it was only to disrupt the Giants offensive into Mukha and Hoedidah.. Like diverting tactcs!

And this is what happened to them.. They have been pushed back to Al Turbah and majority of them killed in the last 2 days

Kahlan Front leader in Jabal Sabr in #Taiz, Kahlan pioneer Raed Al-Kahlani: We liberated new areas and seized diverse weapons after inflicting losses on the militia in its ranks.

Heroes of the Army and Popular Resistance take control of the Sanamat area in Taiz and continue targeting the militia's movements and reinforcements

Watch the video: Southern Giants Forces destroy a 14.5-caliber weapon and sniper rifles of the Houthi terrorist militias, and those who were with them are killed in precise and tightly controlled strikes.

When you watch videos like this you realize the magnitude of this war and the fact that nowhere is safe whether inside a bunker or cave. You are always within reach

Yemen’s Houthis (Ansar Allah) have demanded $51 billion from Saudi Arabia as compensation for years of military operations and a blockade, alongside formal recognition of their authority over Yemen, as the kingdom seeks to negotiate an end to renewed hostilities, The Wall Street Journal reported on November 5. Recently Saudi Arabia had offered the Houthis $1bn to end the war a figure nobody would ever expect the Houthis to accept. In fact the Saudi offer is more of an insult rather then something to be taken seriously. The war will continue and Houthis is seems will likely take more ground each day.

Saudi Arabia is our partner in building resilience and defending our state and our future, it added

absolutely bullshxt story...............

KSA Refused all ceasefires and believe me if they wanted they would have gotten one..

But in truth and publically the houthis are asking for ceasefire..

The PLC declared them terrorists and have closed on the houthis all routes for talks or ceasefire whatsoever.
