PAF Conducts successful test of indigenously developed FAAZ BVRAAM

Mirage is a testbed for every new weapon of PAF and it's central weapon pylon is wired for it.

Yes remember there was a news of SD-10 testing with Mirage jet as well.
If I remember, it was announced as indigenous missile test. It was identified by members (visually) as SD10 and back then there was no announcement of Faaz program. Do it could have been Faaz all along.

Where's the photo ??

Where's ISPR tweet, PR, or any other acknowledgement ??

PAF/ISRP always announce, show photo / videos of any of their tests. It was mere rumor about Mirage firing a BVR missile. Mirage is always used to fire Air to ground stand off munition, H2, H4, Raad, Taimur. It never released a Air to air BVR.

SD-10 could only be tested only from JF-17 for which it was procured. No point to load it up at mirage, which's never had to use it.

Also mirage being BVR capable rumour is way too old, it predates Faaz Development.

Again its all rumour unless there was actual ISPR announcement with video or atleast a photo.

Sorry I mixed two things. I was talking about an air to air missile test. It was not mirage and it was called indigenous but it visually it looked like SD10 (probably a precursor to Faaz program). Couldn’t find the old video, it seems ISPR account is limited to 2 year old.

i thought mica has same capability and used it for this role. faaz sl can be used for point defence
Mica has a less capability compare to dedicated designed point defense SAMs for intercepting anti-ship missiles, and you're assuming too much and too early for FA'AZ to become point defense SAM for naval ships for a job of intercepting anti-ship missiles, first let it become BVR for fighter jets than ground-based SAMs and then naval point defense SAM for intercepting anti-ship missiles, we should move step by step to achieve specific goals (point defense SAM for naval ships) and there is no shortcut in military developments bro

This is not true, there have quite a few tests that were never
announced
