Aware most of you know more about US politics then me but I am going to make a predication here

1) Trump ends Iran war, blames Israel and Hegseth, Hegseth fired and impeached giving the Dems a scalp, aid to Israel stopped
2) Right wing of Dems continue to dominate party despite progressives winning and mass support for them. Kamala somehow gets the nomination promising to still back Israel
3) Vance actually runs on a more progressive foreign policy platform then the Dems and mass AI profits are distributed to voters or AI companies nationalised/part Nationalised increasing household wealth
4) Vance beats Harris in 2028
5) Vance becomes Pres, forgives Trump who quietly retires to Florida

CHRISTIAN ZIONISM

A Christian Zionist is a (usually Evangelical Protestant) Christian who believes the modern State of Israel fulfills Old Testament prophecy and that the Jewish people still hold a divine title to the land promised to Abraham. They take Genesis 12:3 literally as a standing command that God will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse it, so supporting the modern Israeli state is treated as a religious duty that brings divine favor while opposing it risks divine judgment.

This view, rooted in 19th-century dispensationalism, treats the 1948 founding of Israel (and the 1967 capture of Jerusalem) as a prophetic milestone that prepares the way for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and it stands in direct contrast to the historic Christian teaching that the Church is the New Israel.

In the U.S.,approximately 60-80% of Evangelicals are Christian’s Zionists. That’s about 40 to 50 million people, most of whom vote Republican and exercise a tremendous amount of influence and control over Republican politics. That is until last Tuesday, when they received a crushing defeat at the polls. Surveys show that Millennial Republicans have gradually moved away from Christian Zionism, while GenZ Republicans appear to be rejecting it entirely.

Americans need to understand what Christian Zionism is.

They need to understand that it is an extreme and fringe theological view, that has no basis in historical Christianity. They need to understand that Catholics, Orthodox and most Mainline Protestants reject it. And most importantly, Republican Party leadership needs to understand that they CANNOT allow this worldview to influence American foreign policy.

Currently, the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, is a Christian Zionist.

Christian ZIONISM's hold on the average American is also unappreciated. Every Sunday, in addition to what I call Bible tune up Wednesday, Americans sit in the pews, reminded constantly of Israel's special status with the Great Hook-nose in the sky. That's why I call it Christinsanity.

Also unappreciated is the hold these mega churches have on the parishioners. Deviate from the party line, one can and will lose their job.

Democrats are already proposing a $15B aide package to Ukraine.

How does that address the affordability crisis in the US that they created? If I was a Democrat and dumb enough to have voted for them because of that issue, affordability, a $15B aide package for a country I could care less about would be the first thing I'd be screaming about.

Trump is going to use up a lot of pens with his vetoes. I'd just have a rubber stamp and ink pad handy.

On the contrary. The last time there was a vote on Israel in the US Senate--which was only some months ago-- 87% of Democratic Senators voted against Israel, which was a whopping number. That vote may have been defeated because the Republicans had the majority then. No more starting coming January. You will see the change then! TBH, even I am shocked by how quickly the Israel/AIPAC influence has lessened; I knew it was coming but didn't think would happen this soon.
A new America is being born--a younger America. This country has an amazing ability of resilience--the most dynamic society in the world. Perhaps in entire human history of a population this large size.

Anthony Scaramucci has keen insights but I tend to think he is a deeply Deep State person--and that Deep State is still tied with Israel for $$ reasons. This video avoids bringing up Israel totally and thus not enough focus on the war on Iran, which led to the inflation and which greatly contributed to the Republican rout in this elections. But I still respect Anthony's opinion.

MAGA was mostly a race-based movement: White Americans in a siege mentality. I am not unsympathetic to them because every ethnic group would feel the squeeze as the demographic around them changes. But Trump did a marvelous job in 2024 to make the political tent larger and thus so many Blacks, Muslims, Latinos voted for him. Of course Trump had no intention of catering to those groups' needs and he didn't--on the contrary. He conned them and they realized and voted against him in 2026.

In a way you are not wrong about MAGA: It is going to live on without Trump because MAGA's roots are race based. I am surrounded by them through relations and friendships and there are many of them. But it will be a greatly diminished force--never attaining the power and the acceptance like in 2024. Trump squandered a historic opportunity. The guy is so callous, so nonchallant that on the eve of the Midterms elections, he was crowing about some Reflection pond or something; talk about Nero playing flute while Rome burnt!

PS. What every non-white resident in America should fear is the rise of violent ethnic backlash in a country where the gun culture is rampant.
