I think that once this war ends, US may step back from its role as the primary security provider for the Arab states. What follows could be even more chaotic, as it may trigger a power struggle between Iran and the Arab states. Iran could have the upper hand in such a confrontation, but the real question is whether it can maintain influence and control over the Arab states in the same way US has done for decades.

Doesn't seem like something the US would accept despite this just being a return to eternal sanctions.

US imposes a land blockade on Iran --> we fail to respond
US bombs Iranian territory on a daily basis --> we fail to respond
if IRI does not want to fight, it's better to just surrender and end this bullshit show.
I don't think Trump's statements should be taken seriously. I am an Indian, and regardless of whether I support the IRGC or not, my assessment is that the US and Israel have suffered a major defeat in this war. I believe any neutral observer would acknowledge that the image of the US as a military superpower has taken a significant hit. The perceived invincibility of Israel's Iron Dome and David's Sling, as well as America's THAAD and Patriot air defence systems, has also been seriously undermined. The world has witnessed Iranian missiles striking targets in Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE.
However, one thing I find particularly interesting is that Iranian attacks on the UAE have suddenly stopped. What could be the reason behind this?

Some people are speculating that UAE is paying Iran large sums of money behind the scenes for cessation of attacks.

I see this all the opposite way- why US ATTENPTED to do land blockade on Iran AFTER military strikes? I believe US was supposed to setup a blockade first then do military strikes, combined with US asking China to "use its leverage on Iran"to stop the war ,AND JD Vance the idiot initiating secret negotiations with Rezaei, all to the the war,that all tells me the military campaign against Iran has failed so far, which is why Iran isn't budging much - daily strikes on mobile AD systems in Qeshm that Iran can easily replace and are cheap won't offset the military disadvantage the US seems to have put itself in vis a vis Iran. @Potato and @Lulldapull so far seem right that US has lost and can't turn it's loss against Iran into a win anytome soon. US also striking Iran, then pausing then striking against is really bad for UD because it confirms US had no confidence or determination in it's military campaign against Iran,so actually US should just declare the war over asap, who is what Americans actually want.
If this above is generally correct, the next interesting thing will be-, which Arab country in the gulf will submit to Iran ,aka switch loyalty publicly from US to Iran first?

This is what happens when you have a country run by a man who “admired” Western shows like Prison break and other western entertainment TV. Mojtaba is worse than Khamenai in nearly every shape and form. The Khamenai family has damned Iran. Even losing his children hasn’t made him any less willing to appease the West like his father.
On another point, I am not sure why anyone thought the Boomer General Rezaei is a “hardliner” he was the same “trusted” advisor to Khamenai Sr. He is a disaster at that position and should be replaced with Vahidi at once.
It’s clear the oligarchs of Iran are pushing the government to come to a deal alongside the reformists and centrists. These idiots want to retain their wealth and keep the sanctions status quo on the country.
If paying money is enough to stop the attacks, then why can't Saudi Arabia do the same? After all, Saudi Arabia is wealthier than UAE.

OR UAE agreed, probably with US consent, to be the allowed "sanctions loophole"for Iranian international trade. Either way, UAE must've made some concessions to Iran, since they perceived Iran being able to finish off their economy if Iran wanted to(and had started to).

Why would Iran put a radar or fully fledged air defense system right on the front lines? Ukraine doesn't do this with their patriots or s300s.
