Iranian Foreign & Resistance Front Strategy & Operations

There is no evidence or statement anywhere that the IDF are going to Rafah, so please dont assume things, or at the very least give a reliable official source. IDF have said the withdrawal is from the south and the significant fighting force will remain in the north. Even the X post you quoted states that no force will remain in the south and they are just creating a bufferzone. So no Rafah invasion. It doesn't make sense to withdraw from the south to invade the south.

I've already refuted why Bibi, not the IDF, has rushed to come out to save face with this repeated line. It's literally stated in my replies subsequent to the one you quoted. His army is retreating while hes saying "oh we'll be back, trust me". Come on.

Well Bibi is the leader of the war cabinet which makes the decisions about where the IDF goes, the IDF doesn't make those decisions

Americans are also saying that Israel agreed to speak to them before invading Rafah

Yes he's also a politician, so has the nack for doing double speak.

Who is "them" whom Israel spoke to before invading Rafah, (not that its happened yet)?

Yes I'm sure the two of them have been discussing the issue of Rafah for months now. So we will have to see how their retreat from the south equates to an invasion of the south.
they allegedly withdrew from Khan Younis to prepare space for evacuation of civilians from Rafah

Bibi is saying very clearly they will invade Rafah and have set the date already. His government will fall apart if he doesn't invade Rafah. It's going to happen eventually

This is a possibility. However, if Rafah is the goal, wouldn't it be easier to relocate the army to somewhere else in southern Israel or another part of southern Gaza, like Kerem Shalom or Sufa for example, as opposed to retreat to the North?

I don't think they are withdrawing every single brigade to the north. and to evacuate will take many weeks. they have time. until then they will do more operations against specific targets rather than to hold territory, like in Shifa hospital

Nasrallah: 'First we shot down several Israeli Hermes-450 UAVs, this weekend we shot down a Hermes-900 UAV, and our air defense capability is much greater than they are aware of'

Yeah theyre leaving a token force which makes me doubt even more that this is a preparation for an invasion. It could also be a way of dividing the south with the north, hence the talk of a buffer zone. The Gazans keep the south in a ghettoised hell hole where the IDF do specific target practice on them, and the North will be uptown Gaza for the Israelis.

token force inside Gaza to prevent Palestinians returning to north Gaza, but I meant they didn't withdraw every unit to north Israel, most of them will be just outside Gaza or returned home for rest

Another night comes to a close, seems next 48 hours will determine if iran has any intentions of striking now or will wait for rainy day.
