Agree with your takes. I don't personally see Iran launching direct strikes. There aren't actually signs of that. There's something fishy about all of this. Maybe they're gonna try assassinating Palestinian officials in Gaza and Lebanon. It's not about Iran, imo. They aren't afraid of Iran. Worst case scenario they start attacking somewhere claiming it as a pre-emptive strike. Possibly they're worried Trump administration will make affect war efforts in Ukraine and he won't do a strike on Iranian nuclear program and they see it now as a opportune moment.

Keep in mind Israeli's are committing pogroms in the West Bank as we speak. There's no Iranian strike on the agenda. If there's a strike, Israel will be doing it but we don't know where or against who.

Playing the waiting game can turn out to be a dual edge sword. Retaliation usually happens within 24-48 hours of an attack. After that its just playing games to extract maximum concession.
I hope Iran knows what its doing but one thing is certain this will define the baseline for all future escalations between Iran and Israel and if Iran fails to establish deterrence, it will at the mercy of both US and Israel to strike at will with no fear of retaliation or a token one from Iran. We have seen a number of high ranking Iranian military as well as Scientists being taken out over the years. Apparently both US and Israel are getting bolder by the day.

Iran took longer than that to respond to US murdering Soleimani, US took longer than that to respond to Iraqi resistance killing 3 US soldiers in Jordan, Israel took longer than that to invade Gaza ... etc. All these timelines are artificial.

Honestly right now it’s a wait and see I have been the first to say iran should have struck years ago not because of solidarity with Palestinians but because iran had their own agenda with Israel and they were just using the Palestinian issue as an excuse. But you have to admit after all these years of iran being hit by Israel that an actual attack by iran is seemingly pure disbelief, remember you argued iran wasn’t going to attack because it’s not in their interests truth is it is in their interests they just never have been given such a good excuse……..even if it’s being telegraphed step by step it seems they’re not trying to hide an attack they want the Israelis and Americans to know when and where it’s coming from Seemingly

It's all drama. I still don't expect anything to happen. Again though, not that I care if Iranians want to respond or not it's their decision. I've followed Israelis for a long time and they're creating drama to distract from horrible image and media attention due to what they did in Gaza. And to secure more support and assert themselves as a 'democratic' and 'law-abiding' ally. The reality is they're committing a Holocaust and trying to put it forth as a 'war'. All their moves are based around advancing their occupation of the Palestinians. Including this drama with Iran.
