Waves coming in....There's not limitless interceptors. When the ballistic missiles come in at mach 10 then I guess we can see.
Fair enough. The question remains, do the Iranians have more missiles and drones, or do the Israelis have more interceptors?

Explosions in sky reported in multiple parts of Israel and the West Bank

From CNN's Paul P. Murphy and Tamar Michaelis

CNN teams on the ground report the sound of explosions above Tel Aviv, which appear to have been interceptions by Israeli air defenses.

There are also reports of explosions in the areas of Beersheba, the Dead Sea and Hebron in the West Bank, as well as the Golan Heights on the border with Syria.

Iron Dome intercepts took place in several additional locations, according to live webcams viewed by CNN.

The intercepts were observed above Hanaton, which is in northern Israel east of Haifa; near Nazareth; near Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut; and Safed, near the Golan Heights.

Sirens are sounding in many parts of Israel as air defenses are activated.

stop it.

Bro don't get me wrong, but the hits didn't result in any significant fireballs. Am I missing something or Iran just wanted to show the capability?

Ballistic missiles have already been intercepted, resulting in the surreal meteor shower like displays so high up that they were visible in multiple countries.

They haven't arrived yet, so far it's only drones. That footage shows no such intercept.

This should be viewed as a direct involvement in the attack on Iran and Iranian-supported groups should fire on the US bases there.

Fair enough. The question remains, do the Iranians have more missiles and drones, or do the Israelis have more interceptors?
If I had to take a guess.. Iran has more of the missiles, as Israel needs to use their interceptors on almost regular basis.

Biden meeting with national security team is still ongoing

From CNN's MJ Lee

US President Joe Biden is still huddled with national security advisers in the Situation Room, according to a White House official.

Fair enough. The question remains, do the Iranians have more missiles and drones, or do the Israelis have more interceptors?
Assessed that in this thread: https://defencepk.com/forums/thread...nces-deployed-assessment-and-strategies.6469/

Conclusion:

Relevant systems: Arrow-2/3, Patriot PAC-2 and THAAD. Conservative estimates (from Iran's perspective) therefore suggest a total number of 278 ABM interceptors (134 Arrow-2/3 + 48 THAAD + 96 Patriot PAC-2) deployed by Israel to counter Iranian MRBMs.

Assuming Israel fires 2 interceptors per 1 MRBM detected = can attempt to intercept c. 140 MRBMs at once. If we assume no THAAD and 3 PAC-2 batteries instead of 4, this becomes c. 100 MRBMs.

600-700 MRBMs from Iran would mean Israel has to fully reload all such systems 4-6 times over. At that point (in reality, likely well before this point), Israeli ABM capability would likely be seriously degraded with inventories depleted (even accounting for US transfer of additional supplies).
