Correct. They miscalculated that Iran wouldn't respond and they miscalculated again how severely Iran would respond.

Israel can fire 100 CMs at Jericho 2/3.

While on paper Israel doesn’t have any 1000KM CMs, my thinking is Popeye Turbo has an undisclosed range of at least 1000KM plus any Tomahawks Israel bought from US covertly over time.

Jericho is Israel's only ballistic option. And unlikely to exist in conventional configuration in large numbers given air force centric doctrine. Iran has many more levels of ballistic missiles to go through. Considering the unexpected success of this initial strike, that should keep Israel honest.

I don't think they should do anything right now. They did enough. I'd wait for signs of a Israeli attack on Iranian territory first. Israel lacks logistical capability for large scale attacks on Iran. It can shoot cruise missiles from submarines or do some air strikes on Western Iran, but that's it.

It could be US doing the attacks and not Israel. Iran has the legal legitimacy for the response and any further responses and Israel would be blamed for a war.

Disagree takeout as many fighters and bombers on the ground as possible make their runways useless to see which Arab country allows them to use their territory to land and have the people of those countries go ape
