You just had your skies across entire country light up with missiles and drones, causing mass panic and fear across your entire population for many days, with c. 10+ successful ballistic missile impacts, including 4+ confirmed impacts at your strategic air force base deep in the Negev, and your biggest ally doesn't even want you to respond.

That has to hurt for Israel.

Note, the screen grab used in israeli publication is of same video, which later shows several impacts on the ground. It seems to me that Iran send drones to confuse israeli air-defense and BMs to actually hit the targets.

Any indication of counterattack depends on how CNN is asked to report on this.. Ukraine theater not going well. This could be a good excuse.

That was exactly the goal. Iran also successfully struck the Israeli air force base from which their strike on the Iranian consulate was launched - a strategic target for Israel. Everything else, paralysing the entire settler entity after making them live in fear for many days, was a bonus and arguably a distraction. Time will tell if it was successful.

The simple question is that
If you are firing let's say 350 drone and cruise missiles.... Causing no damage then it is not significant.... I'm afraid but compelling Israelis only to reload its Iron Dome System is not any kind of retaliation or a real damage

To be fair Israel has done 200+ strikes in Syria, strings of assasination, helped locate Solemani for US to kill him, killed Fakhrizadeh, countless sabotage attacks in Iran and then killed 13 IRGC officers in a few months culminating in blowing up an Iranian consulate which is unprecedented by a nation state since 1980s.

So yeah it’s not like Israel has been innocent little victim here.

The slate is no where clean between Iran and Israel.

Iran was facing entire CENTCOM and Jordan and Israeli air defence ... Still managed to strike the strategic Ramon air base deep in the Negev which was responsible for the Israeli strike against the Iranian consulate. Struck with at least 4 ballistic missiles caught on camera. That's a proportionate response to draw a red line.

There are many ways to look at it. Iran has also flooded Lebanon and Gaza (and trying in the West Bank) with weapons which those groups have used to kill thousands of Israelis and terrorise millions. And many alleged attacks against Jews in Argentina and Europe.

From Israeli POV you have all this Iranian support for groups dedicated to Israel's destruction and then this massive attack across Israel proper and the president of your biggest ally says they don't support your right to respond.

No casualties are reported on CNN BBC Fox News and also On RT and Pakistani media news channels and remember they don't hide their casualties at all
and for your information most CENTCOM is based on Saudi Arabia and it is not retaliating
IF could've you blast one or two cities/ bases of Israelis then we can call it a retaliatory strike

One wonders what would happen when US won't protect little thug. These guys are always firing rifles through US shoukders. Massive pussies

That reload cost $1B dollars. And interceptors don’t grow on trees. US is dangerously low.

So what happens when Iran does those salvos every 3 hours for 2 weeks? Eventually system collapses and you lose systems to anti radiation strikes, so even if ammo exists they have to reload.

Once systems start getting hit, ammo getting short, etc. the drop off in ABM shield performance goes way down.

In a war of attrition, Iran has 20,000+ missiles it can rely on. I can tell you Israel has no hope of ever having even 5000 interceptors (not counting Iran dome).

An single Patriot missile costs $3M, arrow 3 missile $62 million

How many Arrow 3’s you think Israel can afford to fire? 10? 20? 50?

The numbers work against Israel anyway you spin it.
