Iran launches Operation True Promise - massive missile/drone strikes across Israel, Israel allegedly responds with quadcopters

Latest updates:

- 3 quadcopters (apparently launched locally) shot down over Esfahan
- some quadcopters also potentially shot down near Tabriz
- Israelis claim launching 3 ALBM at air defence radar target in Esfahan. 1 failed in Iraq, no sign of other 2. no explosions or damage seen. satellite imagery shows no damage.

Debate about what ALBM was used. either "Blue Sparrow" or "Rocks".

It was not Rocks because Rocks is a single stage BM that doesn’t have a separating warhead.

This is pretty much it.

Iran: we avenged consulate attack
Israel: we defended our airspace, and retaliated
Iran: we thwarted the said retaliation
Iran (quietly):..time to get to work folks (hint: nukes)

Conclusion: game over (for now)
For now.

others still insist it was Rocks

This whole episode is bizarre. Israel and its allies took a spanking with a 72hr notice where a dozen or more MRBM directly hit Israeli bases, Israel responds with missile that failed to cross into iran and quadcopters which you could say got close likely through a proxy group but didnt even fart towards Iran.

How can anyone see this as an Isrseli success, I know they can spin any lies but this is bordering on fantasy like the independence day movie but israel this time defeating the alien invasion by itself.

They will probably take this opportunity to claim they shot down missiles the way Israel said, and use this as an off ramp. The only long term implications is inside Iran, they will go for Nuclear capability because they know next time it won’t be as light.

No the entity does not have the capability to hit Iran hard at all.

The only realistic method is via cruise missiles via Dolphin Class submarines but they have very few of them and it is not known whether they even have conventional warheads attached to them, assuming the entity even has nuclear weapons.

F-35 attacks are far too risky even if in the unlikely event US allows them to use Iraqi airspace to target Iran. Iran has one of the tighest air defence networks in the world and has excellent medium and long-range domestic SAMs to shoot down any intruding aircraft.

Entity in essence has no options to retaliate.

Why are we arguing about the missile used?

The real question is whether detachable ot, what did the warhead hit and where?

Israeli National Security Minister calls Israel's supposed attack "weak"

Impossible to know where. Everyone is focused on Natanz or Isfahan air base.

There could be targets outside of the city we don’t know.

During the Iranian missile attack it was alleged Iran hit a sensitive site in Golan. And Israel has not mentioned it nor any Sat photos. It’s possible Israel targeted (or attempted to) a similar sensitive site.

I doubt they tried to attack Air Force base, Air Force is the most “moderate” of Irans armed branches and not directly tied to IRGC.

What we need to see now is Iran responding directly to Israel every time military personnel are targetted anywhere in the theatres Iran operates in. Israel has to learn the cost of being the airforce of terrorists. Starting with Golan Heights.
