I would request that this thread does not degenerate into a typical INC BJP slugfest.

I'm tired of it and mercilessly slash such influences from my real life and online presence.

Including on school and college batch groups that I first burn down, then recreate in a sanitized protected no politics no communal cyapa format.

There should be zero tolerance first off on this thread if not the forum for pappu and Gandhi/Ghandy, both sangh playbook creations to denigrate.

Rahul Gandhi is his correct name and he should be addressed as such.

He has millions of Indians who love respect and look to him.

Who vote for him.

Just like Modi.

If Modi is off limits, then so is Rahul. Otherwise you recall what happened on the old forum ...

In my humble opinion neither Modi nor Rahul Gandhi should be afforded such kind of reverence. We break and do not worship governments every 5 years in the country. Its called elections.

I've had the odd difference (not ideologically related) with pushy Prabhupadha skool Hare Krishnas graduates.

Yet even though the RSS makes the distinction of religions birthed of the soil, I do not think anyone but a born Hindu can be part of the RSS core.

Not a Jain.

Not a Buddhist.

Not a Sikh.

All faiths birthed of this soil.

The thinking in RSS is rather .... complex or let me be clear --- confused. Remember I said that before?

There are very important parts of Sangh who do not consider Sikhi, Buddhism or Jainism as separate faiths. Yes, its actually way more insidious.

Jains do not mind it as much.
Many Sikhs will HATE you if you call them Hindus. (I know because I lost someone very close to me that way)
Buddhism in India is actually kind of anti-Hinduism because a lot of Buddhist in India are former Dalits who wanted nothing to do with what made them Dalits in the first place. And really, it is kind of "Ambedkarism" too.

So, yeah, A Sikh or a Jain or a Buddhist can become a "Sanghi" "card carrying" "well accepted" RSS member... but then.... he will have to do something way worse than Ghar Vapsi...

Some of the nicest people I met are the Hare Krishnas.

I think Sharma Ji doesn't know their antecedents and theological descent. I will brief him off line; it is fascinating, and very proper.
