Just imagine if this scenario happened in Iran

Even though Hajizadeh said that Simorgh (a glorified SCUD based SLV) cost what $2M? You think a HGV cost less than $1M? Every other country is in the tens of millions of dollars except Iran?
I think it was the IT minister who said each Simorgh launch costs $3m. and yes. Simorgh is a monster of a rocket with 2.4m diameter, 4 SCUD motors clustered together, 3 stages, takes hours to assemble ...

compared to a cheap mass produced booster and an advanced but relatively small RV on Fattah-2 (compare size of the RV to the North Korean HGV). I think $1m is reasonable.
resolution is less important and number of constellations and it’s set up (GEO vs LEO) is much more important. As of right now, Iran cannot reliably launch satellites. It takes months and sometimes years to
Get one in the air. Meanwhile private space companies are already doing it on monthly to weekly basis.
Qased and maybe Qiam-100 are capable of launching on demand. they promised to stabilise LEO launches and they almost have.

but the satellites are an obstacle now. Iran is churning out so many satellites every year but they are mostly really primitive and not useful

in recent months Syria has been using FPV drones on a daily basis, and they are starting to eliminate high ranking terrorist leaders

More of @Hack-Hook amazing Western weaponry

Honestly why not tag me on weapons that I said are better .
Wonder when I ever talked about krasnopol or Excalibur

Which weapons did you say are better exactly? HIMARS suffers the same GPS guidance issue.

So what weapon does Ukraine field that is superior to Russian weaponary? In my opinion they are all in the same class.

But luckily Russian guided artillery shells are laser guided by drone not by GPS. Not sure NATO thought this thru against opponents that are not Taliban or insurgents.

Surprisingly well done video reporting of Hezbollah surveillance and intelligence capabilities.

that's a question for you ? as i recall i solely talked about Russian and western airplane , i talked about Russian and western electronic system .
so electronic warfare and drone jammer render them useless , right?

Hezbollah seems to be one of the most secretive group on earth, nearly at a North Korean level, never saw any journalists or interviews accorded unless I'm wrong, IRGC should take notes on its book

  • Commander says Iran fired Emad and Qadr missiles only
  • Says they hit 2 targets (likely Ramon and Nevatim)
  • Doesn’t dispute high success rate of interception by Israel and its Allies
  • Doesn’t provide any concrete numbers on weapons fired

The problem is that they are focused on the missile museum, barely any question has been asked related to the operation besides the projectiles type and where it hit, and when there was an answer (the type of missile used), they probably asked him to show the types of missiles and drones used only, he isn't going to answer relatively sensible questions (and take note that this is CNN) which they didn't even asked him

Which missiles have been used? This one and this one, also this drone and this cruise missile
What did you hit? 2 targets
Was it effective, what is your thought on 99% interception rate?
How many of these you fired?

The latter two are non-existing questions at least on the video
But of course these questions should be asked by any media that can interview IRGC high ranked

It’s likely it’s a heavily edited video/interview. Anything the General said they didn’t like, they probably cut out.

Have to wait for Hajizadeh when he talks to iran media in the months ahead. But between what Salami said recently and this interview it’s safe to say the interception rate by Israel/Allies was high. Not 99% but good. Again without knowing the exact number of projectiles fired we cannot event guess the success.
