Unless Palestinians get their state - no normalisation.

Saudis would be the biggest traitor of Muslim World if they normalise with Israel just because Israelis agree to initiate a pathway to Palestinian statehood.

Israelis don't want a Palestinian state but will fool Saudis for sake of normalisation.

If The Saudis make a deal they are tieing their legitimacy to actually getting a Palestinian state done. (If the Israelis renig on a deal it will reflect upon them, especially after recognition). This is probably why they want a US security guarantee on the level of NATO’s Article 5. Should the $*** hit the fan they don’t want to be defending the survival of their regime (and possibly their entire royal family) against the people they rule. The arrests of the people that post anything against Israel shows that the people living in Saudi are not “Citizens” but “Subjects” of his “Majesty”.

It must be remembered what is “Legal” is not necessarily “Moral”. Especially laws to suppress free speech. Any more proof that America is run by a Neocon Uniparty, with a few brave voices on the left and the right.

The legacy of the Baby boomers have come full circle, from the Anti-war protestors against the Vietnam war and protesting as part of the civil rights movement. And now they smear mostly peaceful protesters as violent and racist.

Especially when those that make laws are made in the following context as told by Jimmy Carter in 2010. Let’s hope the Supreme Court strikes this down.
