Just like you "stole" our ports to import stuff, use our highways, use our universities, use our food, use our airports
Just like that we stole your land to build a dam that we paid for and are paying for its upkeep

If you dont know how entire regions not just countries rely on each others strength to generate value than you deserve to live in your bumfrington town bartering your way through life
Go argue with a wall

For 5000 years we have been stealing your water so have been the whole of Indus Valley to irrigate thier lands
Do something about it
Send in the army to stop the water flow downstream

Pay for the dam and its upkeep through taxes over a period of couple decades and then you can call it "yours" till than its not

Delusions are not fair

Take it to the international court of Orangi town
I'll send in my lawyers
Well, Pakistan's narrative in UN is that AJK and Gilgit Baltistan is all disputed and NOT part of either Pakistan or India.

If you say you built Dam on Kashmiri land, you still do not own their land or their water - it still belong to Kashmiris. They did not ask you to build that Dam, you built it on your own - on their land to steal their rightful resources.

Solutions to present crises :
1)give autonomy & fiscal autonomy
2)create more provinces
3)rule of law
4)royalty fee for dams/gas etc
5)local police
6)national guard for each province

Every city should be declared as a Province on admin bases with local government in place, directly elected CMs, let the locals deal with their own problems rather than getting isi and army involved in everything. The state should appoint governors to counter check. National guards should be the rangers, we should get rid of FC and other paramilitary and just have a professionally trained rangers force, a force that is trained to deal with the locals, to negotiate, and use minimum force to sort out the trouble makers. The difference is the army is not trained to deal with the locals or negotiate, they will use lethal force but rangers is paramilitary and should be trained to negotiate and maintain good relations with the locals.

AJK is perfect example, we have 90%+ literacy rate, we have local police and local government for 5m population. These protests are only taking place due to government backtracking on the promises made, otherwise its peaceful place to visit. Punjab has 100M + population but only one CM. Looking at Turkey and Iran, we should be ashamed on the differences in government setup.

ok, and from where the money to execute all this would come ?.

Funeral prayer for the police officer. Despite police brutality, the people are still sympathetic towards our jawan death.

People still remain very patritoic. Our forefathers fought to free the region and join the fatherland. That will never change.
We don't however accept rule from feudal filth. Or outsiders who want to use muscle on us.

what is your definition of stealing?
@PakAl genuinely interested
I believe asking for free electricity while contributing nothing towards it except for land for which most were compensated for if not all, subsidies on 48 items because idk maybe they feel that they are God's special creation, asking for no taxes even GST ones forget property, income tax (which likely means others have to chip in with for the energy, 48 items subsidy as they won't be paying any taxes) is closer to that than anything else

One dude was even accusing folks of stealing water lmao so if that's where we are operating from then idk the criteria
please help me

AJK was promised royalties that haven't been paid for nearly 70 years.

Also as part of the agreement to build the dam there and wipe out our homes - AJK was promised free electricity. That didn't happen either. Two cities and 280 villages were destroyed for Mangla dam.

Try building kalabagh dam before giving us all the big man talk. Faujeets can't even dream of that

I believe some kind of agreement was signed regarding royalties and electricity, the rulers in Islamabad are to blame for signing agreements and then backtracking. Royalties are already given, and electricity demand in Ajk and GB is not much so they should definitely be given some discount for locals sacrificing. i believe this is due to provincial governments and agreement signed during partition. subsidies were given to GB, why was that done? Ajk people are demanding the same.

Regarding theft, do you believe the ruling elite and big industrials pay full electricity price, I doubt it. In Ajk despite Mangla dam, Neelum Jehlum dam, Gulpur dam, the locals face loadshedding and expensive prices, in GB which is also Kashmir we have Katzarah dam, Satpara dam and Bunji dam, some large dams are under construction. The locals were on board and this is why agreements were signed.

It's like taking oil and gas from Balochistan and Kpk but the locals are still living in tents and mud houses, no development, they have every right to protest and complaint. The industrials and elite whilst are living the dream.

I am sure I read somewhere about Azad Kashmir getting royalties for the dam, maybe not mangla dam but we have a few other dams aswell. GB is also Kashmir and they have some huge dams.
