Unrest in AJK Update and Discussion

Apparently, chaos and agitation is spreading in Pakistan like wild fire. IK is trying to blackmail Pak military for long time now. Maulana Fazal ur Rehman too is spitting fire especially his diatribes against the army chief are noteworthy. And now suddenly we see violent rallies in Azad Kashmir too. What's going on in Pakistan, one wonders. Some worried Pakistanis genuinely think that things are getting out of control systematically according to some well-coordinated plan. Well, it will be surprising for many to know that there is actually one reason or factor behind all these apparently unrelated events of violence and political unrest. And that factor is known as Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah. Let's see how?

Let's start with extremely worrisome events in Azad Kashmir in past three days. Reportedly, it was an idea of our military command that if a large scale tax evasion is detected anywhere in Pakistan, the FBR officials of that area should be first held and integrated. That's exactly what happened in Azad Kashmir. Two FBR officials were reportedly held for a day, and they spelled all the beans without much effort. Then, authorities raided some industrial units including a few cigarette producing factories where they reportedly found 5 billion covertly produced cigarettes of Gold Leaf brand. Only this consignment was meant to evade 3 to 5 billion rupees of tax. Only a few days after that the political violence, under PTI's patronage, was taking roots and the peak was the events of the last three days.

Now let's look at Maulana Fazal ur Rehman's fire spitting at the military command. The actual pain that Maulana sahib should have is due to the routing of his political party in the recent general elections. Maulana initially accused the sell-out RO's in KPK and Sindh for unexpected defeat of his political party in these two provinces. Logically he is supposed to vent his anger against PTI and PPP, the two actual beneficiary political parties of Maulana's loss. But strangely enough all his diatribes are against the military command. Reportedly, it is again because of the tobacco mafia. The military is behind an on-going crackdown on tobacco mafia for allegedly large scale tax evasion KPK. A tobacco tycoon was recently elected as a senator on JUI(F) ticket. Since then, Maulana sahib is targeting the military command more than anyone else.

It's not surprising that IK is dreaming to get the same level of support from generals as he used to get from them during 2011-22 era, especially from Bajwa and Faiz. Since military's project Imran Khan met a disgraceful failure and also the military decision to withdraw its support to PTI, IK has desperately tried everything, from publicly humiliating retired and serving generals to licking their feet in private messaging (a rude attempt to use the stick and carrot tactic), for a resumption of old day favors. After humiliating diatribes against Bajwa, no one in military is eager to extend a supporting hand to such an extremely selfish, utterly stupid and incapable, and thoroughly unsuitable for running a country like Pakistan as IK. In addition, the COAS knows it fully well how much filthy, selfish, and double-faced IK is. He caught IK’s wife taking bribes red handed and reported it to IK in good faith that he was a clean person and so he would stop the large scale corruption by his wife and her gang. It turned out just the opposite. IK preferred a disgraceful path by removing Asim Munir from his post of DG ISI in a rather unceremonial way. So, IK's rogue and utterly stupid line of action against the military command is understandable to a large extent.

It's indeed all notorious mafias vs. military command in Pakistan at present. Before it was Riaz Malik mafia against the COAS. Then Afghan mafia joined the fight against Pak military after a crackdown was launched by Pak military against the Afghans smuggling the US dollars from Pakistan. Now, it is the tobacco mafia. One can expect even more mafias to join the fight against the Pak military. You'll see many political elements (who are partners of these mafias) will support these mafias.

What your on about. AJK protests are not held by PPP, Pmln or PTI, they cannot bring this amount of people on the streets. Protests are done by Joint Action Committe which has the people support.

They made it clear they are loyal to Pakistan and protests are not against Army or Pakistan, they have also demanded to take action against corrupt MNAs and take away all the privileges given to them to save cost but this demand has not been mentioned by the government.

It's a sad affair how Pakistanis could support brutal attacks on its own people. The cycle always goes like this. The government/rulers are busy looting, cannot even govern, people will protest due to hardship, they send in police and fire gas and bullets, the people retaliate, then government sends in rangers, a few people will die, then people will retaliate even more, this is all caused by the corrupt useless government and mishandling of the situation then a few fan boys come online and encourage rangers and police to kill the protesters, calling them names etc. If that doesn't work then call in the army and cause a fight and militia wars like in kpk and balochistan. The rulers couldn't care less because they will be on the next flight out of Pakistan, they own massive mansions, expensive cars, children are all out of nation, themselves are dual nationals.

People like Rana Sanaullah are encouraging people to protest for their rights whilst keyboard warriors are calling for protesters murder, and government is using police to target them. I am sure people can see right through this, its always the same game play.

Such so called 'Pakistanis' are what we call 'Plastic Pakistanis'. Their 'patriotism' only goes as far as long as it aligns with their political beliefs. All the ones calling for mass murder so far have come from one political line, having exposed such people on this very thread. True Pakistanis are horrified at what is going on, with the majority calling for calm and talks.
You've got it spot on. Those calling for force will face no real consequences until the war hits their doorstep. The lands of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan, Northern Areas and Azad Kashmir are far away, and the people need to be dealt with. This is because firstly they haven't accepted the feudal lords they love, and secondly they threaten
their status quo of the few benefited at the expense of the many.
I'm afraid if what we have heard is true it may get much worse.

Most of these noonies are like that, they are blood thirsty animals.

Not all bro, a certain section are just demonic. A horrid, wicked cancer that needs to be removed. But the problem is that section holds away and power hence all you see.

Clear racism and xenophobia by a ****/closet noonie.

@Waz Is xenophobia not grounds for ban on this gutter rat?

He's banned, and now on a watch list when he comes back after a long, long time. I want him to reflect on what he wrote.

Absolutely, you can't allow mob rule and chaos and you can't bend to it, EVEN if the demands are reasonable

A police man has even been killed

That has consequences and the state must enforce it's rule and inciters and riot leaders need to be arrested and jailed, otherwise you are asking for trouble everywhere

There is no mob.

Policeman was killed by police shooting is being reported.

How about the Pakistani police protect the people of this country not your money grabbing unelected scum now ruling over us by force. The politicians of the 2 main parties have caused this situation to develop. In AJK and else where , open your eyes. Oh so now corrupt ones in AJK are directly threatened they now demand action. They were fine with it before!

**** you indian

You want to be a slave to the Hindus then go, enjoy
But you can't cause endless chaos and fassad in Pakistan, especially whilst the money for subsidies aren't available

Their is a civilized way to protest and then their is the road blocking way to cause chaos and if you want to cause chaos then you better be ready to face the consequences

At the moment your just providing propaganda for the hindus

I saw policemen thrown off the side of some hill or cliff or something, beaten by mobs
What do you want security to do after that chaos

Extended family are you married into it or are you a person of AJK decent bro?
The latter. Elders migrated from IoK at partition, our family settled in Punjab, but the rest stayed in AJK.
Of course removing the genuine elected people would rile up people, but EVEN then we held our cool. How dare they come down whilst in the middle of talks and start to beat and shoot people. They need to remove all their forces and then we can have talks.
We have to face facts. There is a disgusting section of the Noonie lot who hate Azad Kashmiris, I call them the 'Ranjit Singh species', and this mentality has them sending down their militia to hurt our people. Look at that guy I was arguing with, eventually the truth came out and he started to hurl ethnic abuse.
There is no reasoning with such people.

They've been doing the same crap in Balochistan and FATA for long.

Now that they have started doing it in mainland Pakistan, they are learning the fallacies of their ways.

The only utility AJK gave them was as a rallying point against India, easy people to radicalize, and power generation. Otherwise in ko bas dabayi rakho aur yeh bas chup ho kar waqt guzartay rahain gay.

Day by day I am amazed at the absence of strategic foresight of our ruling class. I actually used to think way back that these people were actually smart.

wrong.. but it was a reaction. Look, the law is white and black but the implementation considers background and context.

Government should handle this fasad with iron hands.

You see fasad everywhere. At this rate, you will probably run out of people and communities to deal with an iron fist. Are you really interested in agitating everyone?

The BJP politicians are laughing their heads off at how the so called 'government' is treating AJK. They started this blood filled tamasha, not our people.

Tum logon ka masla pata hai kia hai?

You time and again, fail to actually identify the problem, and just find a convenient scapegoat to park all the blame with.

Pehle India ya Israel hota tha, ab PTI mil gaya hai.

Constantly blaming something or someone doesn't make it a fact. Rather, it is counter productive. You fail to actually resolve the root cause.

To dumb it down further, mera garam pani ka pipe leak hai aur mere ghar main garam pani nhn araha. Main ja kar 50,000 ka naya geyser lay loon, aur laga bhi loon, tab bhi garam pani nhn aye ga kyunkay masla geyser ka tha hi nhn. Get it my friend?
