Turkish drone is still searching for the helicopter? Doesn't make sense.

TEHRAN, May 20 (MNA) – A helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raeisi and foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian went missing in a dense forest area in East Azarbaijan Sunday, while bad weather conditions are hampering search and rescue efforts.

Why does it have to be a drone? Pakistan has the Beechcraft King Air which are equipped with powerful SAR radars, I believe the P-3C, Erieye & and the ATR-72s all have SAR radars.
 
On one hand I believe the US intelligence agencies using their spy satellites have likely located the crash site by now, just like their deepsea mics picked up the implosion of Titan submersible when it imploded near the Titanic.

On the other hand would they release this to Iran thru Swiss Embassy if it risks exposing their classified technology?

Mehr news has been publishing fake news from the start

"Asghar Abbasgholizadeh, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Eastern Azerbaijan said that his forces detected a signal from the helicopter and the mobile phone of one of the crew at the incident site."

hope this guy is convicted for this lie
 
So much miss information coming out from Iranian news agencies quoting commanders and generals
