Condolences to the Iranian nation and the families of the deceased. During Mr. Raisi's visit to Pakistan just a few weeks ago, he and Pakistanis felt a lot of warmth for each other and his death is not only a big loss for Iran but also for Pakistan. Hopefully, the warming relations between the two nations will continue with even more vigor. Pakistan is officially observing a Day of Mourning over this loss.
May the deceased Rest in Peace.

I read a post (basically conspiracy theories type post) where someone told that India is also involved in this with Israel because President is working to improve Iran-Pakistan Relation and involved in some strategic deals with Pakistan.

PS: I am not saying that post is right but yes President visit did open door for better Iran-Pakistan relation.

Thanks to all the Pakistani, Turkish, Indian and other brothers that followed closely everything, this was a rare time where all neighbors were truly helping even if his fate was immediately death, the elections will be in less than 50 days, i personally have no idea of who is this interim president, but i hope someone better than all the previous president will be elected or that major changes are going to be applied such as removal of the president post/adding prime minister post, and finally security for all high ranked, i really hope having the president to die like that will make some people wake up and not let assets be at critical risk whether from accidents or foreign actors

I dont understand why President RAISI travel with 30 year old BELL 212 Helicopter instead of MI-171

The 5 rotor MI 17 is a much more stable platform than the 2 rotor BELL- 212


The BELL-212 Helicopter is just certified for VFR (visual only) flight, and can only accommodate 6 passengers. because of power-plant is not nearly powerfully equipped nor the turboshaft power collective response fast enough to fly through changing terrain levels
