Wish the CBG had atleast 1 more frigate and corvette, I am no expert so I may ve wrong but just 1 destroyer, 1 frigate and 1 corvette seems too few for our CBG.

French team consisting of Govt. officials, Dassault and Thales executives is going to be in India tomorrow for further negotiations relating to the sale of 26 Rafale M for the Indian Navy.

I somehow doubt it'll be as low as 4 billion euros. The cost being quoted for 12 Rafales for Serbia is in the range of 3 billion euros.
However, if the Indian Navy does opt for common maintenance and servicing of it's Rafale D/M fighters with the IAF's Rafale C/D, then yes the cost will come down quite a bit.

What are the upgrades planned during this refit and for how long will this sub remain in service after this upgrade

INS Sindhukirti is just getting a regular upgrade to boost its combat abilities, unlike the Shishumar-class submarine Shankush, which is getting a more expensive overhaul costing around ₹2,725 crore.

INS Surat (Visakhapatnam-class Destroyer) has begun sea trials. Following this, India will commence the construction of its Project 18-class cruiser ships, each equipped with over 110 VLS cells.

MFSTAR on the lead ship of the P17A class frigates, INS Nilgiri... This ship will also have the excellent 3D air surveillance radar LTR 25 Lanza L-band radar, which we've seen on the modernized INS Mysore

I would love to know what efforts India, IN and DRDO are taking towards making an indigenous MFStar equivalent radar. All the things we do but can't make an MF Star type radar or LTR 25 radar? Hard to believe it.

We've achieved a significant milestone with our shipborne S-band naval radar, far surpassing China's aspirations. The Indian Navy has successfully integrated and operationalized it on INS Anvesh, positioning it to compete head-to-head with the USN's AN/SPY-6 system.
