Are you talking about USA or Russia being bankrupt? I could have sworn USA has 34 trillion in debt while Russia debt is minuscule not to mention Russia has rich raw materials.


The EU countries are buying Russian oil from India, or from Greek ships of the Russians coast. Also EU countries are buying expensive American gas and oil. All countries are suffering from the sanctions. In Germany economic growth has slowed

delivery weapons does not mean participate into the war. China, Iran, North Korea deliver weapons to Russia. Otherwise Ukraine can strike them all because they are the supporter of enemy.

Not offensive. At least not now. The F16s won’t fly into Russia airspace. That’s suicide. Their mission is to shoot down Russian bombers from far distance inside Ukraine controlled airspace. Russia jets with glide bombs are the biggest threat. Once those jets are eliminated then Ukraine can start the counteroffensive. Some in the west assume Ukraine army would be able to launch counterattack by next year.

Should Putin run amok with nukes on Ukraine then the F16s will respond in kind with nukes. Then the F16s will fly into Russia to drop nukes.

They are MLU F-16's what is most important is if they will come with Harm receiving pod and EW centerline pod to be able to get really close to frontlines at high altitude. F-16's won't have to worry about Russian fighters getting near the frontlines. You can likely count with your hands how many tank on tank battles have taken place in Ukraine the same will be for air war or lack of it. Ukraine/US has been doing a great job taking out Russian s300/400 inside occupied Ukraine now that they have the means they will start taking out s300/400's just inside Russian border and if they do Ukraine F-16's will be able to loiter over the frontlines at high-ish altitude. US knows every Russian s300/400 site a long Ukraine border since they keep the launchers and radar close to each other generating a huge EM signal.

Grippen ? J-10c? F-18?

Gripen is a good fighter jet but the Swedes won’t deliver to Ukraine anytime soon.

F16 is combat proven, It is versatile, not too expensive to operate, maintain and replace. That’s exactly what Ukraine needs. Combined arms operations, close front line support, suppressing enemy air defense, killing russian glide bombers. F18 or other jets such as from China are either expensive or not available.
