They can't handle late 80's tech which cluster ATACMs are.

F-16's are going to be pretty safe flying over Crimea once they are done taking all s300/400 in Crimea.

The US Army buying 4,000 Inc 1 Precision Strike Missiles looks even better these days. Will probably sell a bunch overseas too

sunny day at Kharkiv
a good time to die

Looks like T-90M is the best tank in this conflict. Western tanks in Ukraine don't have commander's independent panoramic thermal sight.

What is I think the most important about F-16's and AWACS is it will give Ukraine the ability to shoot down cruise missiles and shaheed drones. Ukraine (more like the US) knows when a cruise missile attack is coming, and I mean time wise, the problem is they don't have the aircraft to successfully shoot them down the F-16's will remedy that.

Second most important is SEAD/DEAD. Those F-16's need to come like this....

The HARM receiver is really necessary it can geolocate IAD radar that is painting the fighter and datalink the info to other Vipers which upload the info to HARM missiles very quickly and turning off the radar won't help. Vipers will know if the radar is too far to take a shot without the receiver Vipers will only know type of radar that is painting them but won't know distance just general area. Centerline EW pod is also important allowing Vipers to get much closer to frontline targets at high altitudes.

Russian fanboys will bring up r-37M but r-37M hasn't had success against soviet era flankers and migs since Russian fighters don't fly anywhere near the frontline.

The simple answer is yes

The key to the F-16 survival is it not trying to engage Russian aircraft in the air and staying well clear of S-300 and S-400 sites
SHORADs and jammers are vital targets that F-16s must engage with AGM-88s and unlike the MIG-29 and Su-27, the F-16 can fully use it in all modes As long as Ukraine doesnt overstretch, they will be good

It will be interesting to see how Russians planners will be addressing this threat likes others , M1 tank, Himars etc ..,

Best tank? I rather want to sit in a leopard 2 or 3. Russia tank like this T90 series is much a dynamite waiting to explode. The russians save a loader in exchange for ammo carousel. Worst trade off ever.

T-90M out ranges Western tanks with guided missile. Western tanks don't even know what hit them.

Putin will run amok.

“NATO operation plan for Ukraine”

For the first time ever the NATO will directly involve in coordinating and pouring military weapons and other hardware into Ukraine.

The more Ukraine under pressure the more double down will the NATO.

The gloves are off.

NATO can't even build a tank anymore after Cold War ended. No tank. No aid. Sorry.
