Long thoughtful post. I am sorry you seem to be in angst about the 'vitriol' directed against Egypt and 'Arabs' in general. I explained above why GCC Arab countries can't counter America much without literally destroying their own economies--which would inevitably lead to severe negative ripple effects for countries like Pakistan because of the loss of expat revenue which would be a LOT of money. Pakistan was until recently begging for a mere ONE BILLION $ from the IMF and that wouldn't come without the American nod. A lot of dreamy talks here not just about 'Arabs' but also about Pakistan are done by idealistic expats who are aloof from the reality of vulnerable situations their original homeland are in. I don't want to get into the Pakistani politics here--people know my views about this forum's favorite leader all too well.
BUT... it is still a criminal complicity by Jordan shooting down Iranian missiles on behalf of Israel and it is a criminal complicity IF GCC Arabs are allowing trade to Israel to bypass the Yemeni chokehold.
PS. People like Scott Ritter and Col. Macgregor are now wildly popular. They, along with several others, have tapped into the No. 1 conflict in the world, which is the Palestinian-Israel conflict and they are making tons of money. Look at Jackson Hinkle's rise after October 7--but he is far better than Ritter and Macgregor. The Muslim audience alone is 1.5+ billion. But I don't respect such people. I rather go to the Israeli sites and to reputable people like Larry C. Johnson, Max Blumenthal.
