PTI news, updates and discussions part ll

PTI biggest problem is their leadership cannot make independent decisions without Imran Khan approval, but he is in jail so their main order is to continue anti establishment narrative till the end. What they dont realise is slowly the establishment is turning the narrative, this is why KPK government was removed, the rulers believe they have the upperhand now.

Sooner or later, the establishment will have to realize that Pakistan cannot continue to be run the way it has been for the last 80 years. The country needs a strong democratic government that comes to power through the people's votes, not one selected by the establishment.

The establishment cannot simply arrest Maulana on fabricated cases the way they did with Imran Khan and expect everything to go smoothly. Establishment and government ko Munh ki khani padegi. This time, both the establishment and the government will have to face serious resistance. JUI-F could give both of them a very tough time.

Yeah but in 2024 many many PTI supporters voted for Trump even though he still had anti Muslim polocies.

You obviously know more about this than I do. Whether someone supports PTI or PML-N, most people are simply choosing what they believe is the lesser of two evils. There really isn't a perfect candidate, especially when it comes to Muslim voters.

Among overseas Pakistanis, whether they're living in the Middle East, Europe, or North America, there is tremendous support for Imran Khan. That doesn't necessarily mean everyone supports every PTI leader or everything the party does. But if elections were held in Pakistan today and overseas Pakistanis were allowed to vote, I believe the overwhelming majority would vote for PTI.

My assessment is 80% of overseas Pakistanis in "western world" support PTI. Same goes for overseas Iranians infact almost 99% who absolutely despise IRGC. Votes has no concept in Islam in terms of public mandate thus I dont personally give to much importance to it. If our prophet wanted to implement voting system he would have done so. I mean Muslims gather in mosques daily and it would have been very easy concept to come up with a Islamic voting system but that was never a case throughout 1,400 years of Muslim history. Even in western world, policies remain the same only the faces change and we know who actually pull their strings 👃
I have already provided my reasonings before and if you are interested I can give you some reference.

The establishment is reportedly trying to launch yet another "PTI replacement." They tried with Ayesha Gulalai, tried with splinter groups, tried with electables, and now they're trying again. At this point, their persistence is impressive, even if their success rate isn't. Eighty years later, they still seem more interested in engineering political parties than building public institutions that people can proudly point to.

Imran Khan built a cancer hospital that serves the public. Meanwhile, some people have spent years trying to manufacture alternatives and are still wondering why the original remains more popular than the copy.

At this point, launching another "new PTI" feels less like a political strategy and more like a sequel to a movie that keeps flopping at the box office.

That is because Trump had a better relationship with Imran than Biden and made commitments that he would support voices for democracy in Pakistan, which he later reneged upon.

As per Islam there is absolutely nothing wrong with Fauj controling politics as evident by its 1400 years of history. The reason why I brought Islam is because PTI seems to be conveniently using it for its politics. They have successfully created false image of IK as divine guided and a promised missahiya who will eradicate poverty in Pakistan and establish Riyasat e Medina if he is freed and given ultimate authority. Majority of his supporters are still conservative Muslims however his overseas supporters are mostly pro secular.
Fauj does seem to have a dilemma that almost every other Frankenstein politician they create seems to bite them in the 2ss at some point. Who knows IK may come out as Shabaz 2.0 after software update.

Ok this profile at most qualifies for a humanitarian ambassador but not a politician or a leader of nation with complex geopolitics. In that case, it would have been a foolish idea if Edhi had run for politics just because he had done wonderful job of taking care of the needy. Thats why this public mandate has no concept in Islam.

I dont think there will ever be a more popular political party like PTI that used deceitful ideological tactics to gain awam sympathy votes. Fauj is well aware of that and it has learned its lesson and would prefer weaker figures whose popularity does not exceed beyond its local region thus easier to control.

There is no friendship in geopolitical world and PTI situational awareness level is that of a pigeon. Now PTI next move is seeking assistance from Democrats well knowing that it was the same party that they accused of toppling its government. I haven't heard of Donald Lu or Biden names from PTI supporters since 2024. And just FYI, US does not really help anyone for free.

My biggest issue with this argument is the contradiction.

We’re told PTI is artificially popular, Imran Khan is a Frankenstein politician created by the establishment, and his supporters are brainwashed. But if PTI was nothing more than a political illusion, why was so much effort needed to contain it?

Its leaders were pressured to leave, workers arrested, media coverage restricted, candidates faced obstacles, and even its famous cricket bat election symbol was taken away.

That’s like calling a cricket team useless while confiscating its bats, removing half its players, changing the rules, and then celebrating the victory!

The Frankenstein argument is equally amusing. Apparently, the establishment creates politicians, but when one develops an independent following, he suddenly becomes a monster. At some point, shouldn’t the scientists review their own experiments?

I’m not claiming Imran Khan is perfect or that PTI supporters never take their admiration too far. But dismissing millions of voters as brainwashed is easier than asking why they continue supporting him despite all the obstacles.

My bigger question goes beyond PTI.

If the establishment decides who can rise, which candidates can compete, which parties are acceptable, and even whose election symbol survives, then what exactly are we calling democracy?

You can’t celebrate democracy when people vote for your preferred candidate and dismiss it when they choose someone else.

And the argument that PTI became too popular, so future politicians should be less popular and easier to control, is particularly revealing. That’s not political wisdom; that’s an admission of insecurity.

Either the public mandate matters, or it doesn’t. If it matters, people must be allowed to choose their leaders, even when powerful people dislike their choice.

Otherwise, let’s stop calling it democracy. It’s political theatre with an expensive production budget and a winner apparently selected before the show begins.

And here’s the final irony, if PTI’s popularity depended entirely on its cricket bat symbol, why did supporters continue looking for its candidates after the symbol was taken away?

Maybe the support was never really about the bat.

If the referee can pick the players, change the rules, confiscate the equipment, and influence the scoreboard, don’t blame the crowd for questioning whether it’s a real match.

I think you’re missing my point. I have no problem with Pakistan engaging with the United States, whether Democrats or Republicans. That’s how international diplomacy works. But there’s a fundamental difference between maintaining diplomatic relations and taking dictation from another country.

My concern is that Pakistan must have an independent foreign policy based on its own national interests, not the interests of Washington, Beijing, Riyadh, or any other capital.

If PTI approaches American Democrats today, that doesn’t automatically mean it’s seeking American approval or inviting foreign interference. Engaging with foreign politicians is diplomacy. The important question is what is being discussed and whether Pakistan’s sovereignty and national interests remain non-negotiable.

And I completely agree that America doesn’t help anyone for free. Neither does China, Saudi Arabia, or any other country. They all pursue their own interests. That’s precisely why Pakistan needs leadership capable of negotiating with everyone without becoming dependent on anyone.

We shouldn’t be anti-American, anti-Chinese, or blindly pro-any country. We should be pro-Pakistan.

The objective should be simple: Pakistan should have friends and strategic partners around the world, but it should never have a foreign master.

Oh I just realized you are that PTI troll who uses AI for every response.

I careless about how you feel. You have no answer so you are running away. 🤣

Let me ask two simple questions.

If Imran Khan's narrative has no real impact, why is so much effort spent trying to counter it?

And if the game is fair, why keep changing the rules, taking away the bat, and putting obstacles in the way, only to complain when people question the result?
You can't keep telling people everything is fair while also trying to control every part of the game.
At some point, maybe the problem isn't the crowd. Maybe people are just reacting to what they're seeing.

Establishment must realize that there has to be some give and take.

You can’t claim institutions are independent while trying to control what they do.

If the establishment wants people to trust these institutions, it has to let them do their jobs without interference. Whether it’s the courts, Election Commission, media, or Parliament.

And that also means accepting outcomes they might not agree with. That’s what independence actually means.

Fazlur Rehman direct attack on FM Asim Munir. Fazlur Rehman is a big machi, has backing of certain part of establishment and Tablighi Jamaat, he will be hard to replace, maybe 30 years project.
