Last night I happened to get a message. It was from a physician (Palestinian) who also happens to be Spiritual Guide I recently met him few times

The person shared a video on Palestine (general public discussion), how Genocide is taking place there and how no Muslim Countries have come to help for Palestinian Cause Diplomatically or otherwise. The video stated Palestinians are on their own, guarding the Aqsa Mosque and they have protected the Holy Lands even before the 1900 with same Dedication. Obviously the person concerned for his countrymen/women

But his words hit it hard when he said, where is the Muslim Nations when it comes to protecting the Holy Land or protect the people from such genocide.

I kept wondering all day how to Explain to poor man , that Pakistan's whole Elder leadership is in Prison for past 150 days and we don't have the capacity (As Nation) to offer even condolences or encouragement to people who lost lives (women /children / elderly or other poor souls caught in cross fire)

In end I said ...

The only thing I could say was I agree I wish there was more solidarity in representing the case of Palestinian people on Global Arena

People do care dearly and you know most people believe in Human Rights and freedom to live , have home, jobs and family. People do care about their suffering.

But for large portion of 2 hours, I was just confused how to explain to him the scenario happening in Pakistan - How can I explain to the guy whose own people are facing genocide that out here in Pakistan things are grim our own Police in Pakistan is picking up people.

I wish I could assure him that Pakistan is 100% behind this cause to help the folks suffering in Palestine in these harsh times.

Such matters can be only solved at State Level or UN Level.

It really left some conflicting thought ...what a terrible time to have this crisis in Pakistan.

It is truly tragic, for everyone, but especially for the people of Gaza. But like Imran has held up a mirror to the Pakistani system, the Gaza genocide has done the same for the rest of the world.

I do however wonder, how Imran would have reacted to this situation. I'm aware he couldn't have done much on the ground, but it's very likely he would have been giving interviews all around the world to shed greater light on this one sided war.

On a personal level, I wouldn't say I was an Israeli supporter, but I had opinions contrary to the prevailing thought amongst Muslims or Pakistanis, but no longer, not that it matters much.

But if you know that governments are and will do nothing then a billion people can't do anything?

This sounds like a failure of imagination and hope.

The point here is not to be a hero in your thinking and go into marvel action hero mode, but know we can all do a little in our families and within ourselves, there are many legitimate actions and ironically Western governments will pay attention to Muslim votes if they organise and coordinate.

Your next conversation might be a bit more positive if you keep this in mind.

It reminds me of qarbala all over again. Muslims are all absent.

Sadly, this is nothing new. It has happened over and over again. It will happen again the next time.

And our enemies know this. We are all words and no action.

Who is to blame here? No one but ourselves.

Therefore, we deserve what is happening to us all.

It is the harsh truth.

What your saying might be bitter pill to swallow but its the truth. Our leadership is corrupt, conspire against each other, support foreign invasions in to Muslim land due to receiving dollars, support terrorism, extremism and separatism in Muslim land. Our awaam is the same, or I would say worse. We cannot move forward until we decide to not do the above and work towards unity.

Today all Muslims states should be united in support of Gaza, place sanctions on Israel, boycott them, send armies to Gaza and West Bank, not to fight Israel but to maintain security, remember Gaza and West Bank are not part of Israel and its not illegal to enter with the permission of PA and Hamas.

Hi,

His question should have been directed towards Hamas & Iran.

Just looking at it---how the israelis have shoved shit down the big mouth of the iranian mullahs---.

When action was needed---the iranian Imam and his followers chickened out---what great warriors these iranians are---only against helpless men and women---. Actually great iranian warriors against women---.

Do Palestinians find Hamas even remotely responsible for what's happening in Gaza ?
well thats one way to look at it. History is filled with examples where a smaller foe (Who knows he is geting killed anyway either slowly and systematically or through a faster campaign) has attacked the larger one just to make sure that in his dying breath he can cause some damage to the other one. Its human nature. its what happens when you are cornered and have nothing to fall back on! Israel can do all it wants, and in this moment it surely can to its liking. it can occupy that land for 500, maybe a 1000 years. the end will not be good for them. its not sustainable!

Well, what Zionist doing for the last many decades ...anyone dare to make them responsible. Hamas is product of Zionist constant tyranny and they take it as HOLY WAR and killing Palestinian through the lens of religious duty. Dig out graves, kill the children, humiliate women ... This is all tip of iceburg.

Tantura, a fishing village near Haifa, in 1948
The Tantura families’ committee hopes the investigation will lead to more inquiries into the events of 1948, which Palestinians call the Nakba, or catastrophe.
