Israel is systemically destroying northern Gaza with its maximum firepower. It keeps running out and relies on US continues supplies.

Yes. And that's why neutral countries forces, mutually acceptable, need to be in Gaza spread over many places to try to guarantee Israel won't start another conflict once Israel has the rest of the hostages back.
And I am amazed @Falcon29 is STILL saying kill all stages. He was saying that as far back as October 2023 when this conflict started. What naivete!
The hostages are one of the most useful tools in the hands of the Gazans to cause discord in the Israeli civil society, put a monkey wrench in the Israeli tactical planning, and to put some kind of brakes on a total mass slaughter of the Gazans.
There is a reason as to why the hostages are so prized by the Gazans! Israel would be even worse if there are no hostages left in Gaza!!

It will. We already know this. Why? US, European, and Arab backing. With Iran-led resistance axis unlikely to set forth a ultimatum such as :
If Israel resumes the war on Gaza after a prisoner swap, we will intervene
That was the case in the beginning of the conflict. If you think they're avoiding carpet bombing Gaza because of some few dozen soldier captives, you are naive. They're destroying and have destroyed all of Gaza already.
The whole 'tactical' plan is to ethnically cleanse Gaza. And they've implemented many of the steps so far. And are continuing to execute this plan with US backing and more.
It makes a lot of sense, that if this war on Gaza continues. To take out the prisoner captives. Deal a blow to Netanyahu that way. Have people erupt in his face. Israel will will go on a terrorist rampage for a few days as they always do. And have been doing. If you're thinking it will give them a excuse to commit more genocide, then you're suspicious to me and I don't trust people like you.
Nobody has right to commit genocide. And they clearly don't need any excuse to do what they're doing. They go into Gaza and devastate it whenever they want. Because of people like you who are more concerned of trying to look good in the middle of a genocide so Jewish run media can publish one article misleading people about hope of a end to the genocide.
Another thing is it will force Israel to have to explain what it wants in Gaza. Right now it keeps using 'rescue hostages' as a excuse. When it's actually kill Gaza and ethnically cleanse it, which is the real policy. Take away hostage card. And they are going to go under much more pressure to state their objectives of war. And more pressure to provide a plan for 'next day'
These captives give no leverage to Palestinians at this point, whatsoever. If you're trying to tell me, that Israel will kill everyone in Gaza if the captives are taken out, instead saying its unacceptable and we won't tolerate a Holocaust, than that says more about you.
It should be clear to Israel. If it commits such a Holocaust in Gaza. Then Jews everywhere in the world will become a target instantly.
