Trump says US will stop giving Israel aid after year-end

he idea of the US not supporting Israel is not going to happen anytime soon. I don't give a damn which political party occupies the White House. That ship has unfortunately sailed and both sides are afraid of Israel.
Yeah, you got a few like the DSA people calling for an end to support for Israel. But in reality, they can be dealt with.

There is a tectonic shift in the American public opinion of Israel in last 3 years. It is a historic shift and some browsing of the Israeli websites would reveal how worried they are. So let us be not surprised Israel gets dumped enough to the point of 'Accept some kind of a 2-State Solution or you are on your own'.
Only time will tell but I'd bet on Israel being put into its place very soon. What is Israel anyway? It is a drag on the American resources which every American President has known except for the likes of the Zionists like Biden and Trump.

You are correct about that, Sir.

I don't share your optimism. But that is the realist in me.

The US-Israeli relationship is too strong. That bond has only gotten stronger since the 1960s. Even after the Liberty incident, the US and Israel remain close.

I have a number of friends who would like to see Israel kicked to the curb.

The bond that grew 'stronger' can also grow weaker. I am not saying that Israel's primacy to the Americans is going away anytime soon however I have a high degree of confidence that the US-Israel relationship is going to get weaker and probably starting very soon.
Anyway, only time will tell.

Lets see, $4 Billion a year is not that much in the grand scheme of things and Israel will continue to have access to high end US weapons just out of their own funds, and if the US can take $4 Billion from one hand they are very adapt at finding ways to give $4 Billion with the other hand.

JD Vance I think will be more of a game changer for the US-Israel relationship then both Trump or any Democrat, I think the guy really understands how Israel has created a rot not just in US politics but also US society
