Last time around too, Trump was being pressured by some political ones (Pence and co) to be tough on India's apparently anti-Christian Hindutva, but he was just interested in making deals, big beautiful tremendous deals.

My favourite Hindu Dharmi American politician is Tulsi Gabbard, veteran, was a democrat but supported Trump for his non interventionist non neo-con foreign policies. Pretty too
