A sitting PM and ruling party being held ineligible to contest polls. Now where have we seen that before?

The army is kind of a unpredictable character now, we will understand if they are truly with people if they allow general public to storm the prime minister residence.

If that happens - then army will listen to the student protest leaders. these leaders, in consultation with professors and lawyers have already drafted a plan for the interim governance, until a free and fair election can be held. They have even selected people to be in advisory position when the interim govt comes to power. They selected mostly neutral and apolitical and respected individuals, so that they are accepted by general public. I will try to get a hold of that list and share.

She has lead to death of thousands of innocent lives. She can’t be the Prime Minister anymore. She must be declared ineligible and preferably trialled for the murder of these students

End of the day, the responsibility falls on to the Prime Minister for mishandling the situation.

Completely agree. I am getting that feeling as well. He understands the momentum is no longer with Hasina but at the same time he is a Hasina appointee and a relative. He is trying to balance both so that he is not on the wrong side at the end of all this.
