I see a lot of Hindutvas disappointed that Sheikh Hasina has been toppled, and are pleading with Modi to take in Bangladeshi Hindus.

Not trying to sound dumb, but can you explain why there's so much hate against Hasina, aside from the reservation stuff? I thought Bangladesh's economy was doing pretty well and progressing nicely.

Congratulations to Bangladeshi brothers and sisters. Unbelievable how you've done it. The amount of unity is praiseworthy. I hope Bangladesh moves towards stability, creates new political parties with new vision for Bangladesh, bring major reforms in to the electrol and governmental systems, upgrade the institutions, free and fair elections, police, health, judiciary reforms. The people of Bangladesh need justice and away from the corruption eating the society.

Because AL uses propaganda boogeyman to win Indian hindus favor. In reality even religious party like Jamaat e Islami have no policies of persecuting bengali hindus or whatsoever.

It's a mystery on how the usa does it, the protesters were genuine aswell, looking at the Arab spring, the protesters were genuine but usa used that to cause havoc in those nations, some even led to wars, in some nations after a few years the old guard came back to power.

If Bangladesh moves from BAL to BNP/JI coalition government, and Bangladesh gives military base to Usa then I would say its a red flag but hopefully Bangladesh will move towards interim government, and the youth, professionals create new parties which will rule bangladesh. Unfortunately I don't see that happening anytime soon, BNP/JI will be in power.

Lets wait and see what direction the foreign policy goes.

But theres is no denying that United States have many ways to influence different countries: NGOs, Facebook, Whattsapp, Twitter, bribes and outwright paid agents…

Those are most likely Awami activists and supporters. As I said, if they were part of the regime, they will be punish just like any other Awami leaguers according to the laws of the lands.
